Anna's cottage is a completely renovated island cottage that is perfectly located on Spring Avenue in the city of Anna Maria. Only 2 blocks west is the beautiful Gulf of Mexico and the Sandbar restaurant and only 3 blocks east is the historic Anna Maria Pier and the Waterfront restaurant. It is also easy walking distance to several shops and additional restaurants.
There is 1600 sq. ft. of air conditioned living space along with a large screened porch, covered patio and huge paver deck and pool area.
The master suite has a king bed with a large master bath, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 single beds and is accessed by a sliding barn door. All 3 bedrooms have cable t.v. and the main television is a 30" LCD High Definition t.v. with built-in DVD.
The pool is constantly heated to a very comfortable 82 degrees and has plenty of sunlight for hours of sunbathing. There also is an outdoor rain shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. I cannot say how happy we were with the kitchen, bedding and furniture. The space is amazingly comfortable, spacious and inviting. As one who has done remodeling I have a great appreciation for the materials, fit and finish of this house. The owners obviously took it very seriously and did not scrimp. We would come back to Anna's Cottage in a heartbeat.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Thanks - had a great time. We have been coming to Anna Maria for several years now, always looking for that perfect house in our perfect "Old Florida". I think we found it this time. The location was great as we could walk to everything, the beach, the City Pier, the deli on Pine and Ginny's and Jane's. The house was perfect for us, all 7 of us. Just great. The pool was nice and warm, and perfect for a late afternoon meeting before dinner. When we rented the house we also put in for "warm weather in Feb' and sure enought SATO Reality made that happen also. Great job by all. Thanks again, and we will be back. We recently spent a long weekend on Anna Maria Island and were thrilled when we checked into the cottage. Photos just don't do it justice ... the place was immaculate, spacious and beautifully decorated. There were six of us, 4 adults and two kids and we had more than enough space to relax and enjoy. We hosted a big family dinner one evening and were thrilled to find everything we needed to cook our feast and enjoy the evening on the lanai. The location is ideal - right in the middle of the north part of the island. To the east is the very groovy and rustic fishing pier and to the west is the beach - all within walking distance! A big thanks to the owners for renting us this little piece of paradise.
