"Hi, John, Just wanted to let you know how much our family enjoyed your home during our Christmas trip. It is so beautiful and yet comfortable all at the same time. We enjoyed the western decor, although our little grandson told us he didn't want to be in the family room because 'that cow keeps looking at me and he wants to bite me'. We convinced him it was nice cow from Texas. It snowed heavily on Christmas Eve and day, so it was magical!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We just returned from a great ski week at Vail/Beaver Creek. The home was perfect for our family with 3 young kids and another family also with young ones. Its secluded location in an upscale community was perfect to get the great Colorado mountain experience. The house is far superior to the expectations imagined from the photos. The home was clean and well prepared to receive incoming vacationers. The hot tub was a cathartic end to a great skiing day. The owner was very helpful with answering questions and concerns. We typically have stayed at ski-in ski-out locations in the past and found this experience new and refreshing. The drive to the resort(s) is relatively short and getting away to a true "mountain retreat" was great. Having the car at our disposal was an added bonus. Just a few final recommendations for anyone staying at this location, visit "The Kind", a ski/snowboard/cycling shop in Edwards for your ski equipment needs. Their prices were better than the resort(s) and it was nice to not have to deal with the ski rental rush in the mornings. As for pizza try JP's Old Forge pizza. Their pepperoni pizza is excellent.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+.

The photos just don't do this place justice. It is much nicer than than it looks online. The owners have done a great job decorating this home and have maintained it well. Our group stayed here for a Spring Brask trip in mid-March 2010. We had 6 college students between our two families. The downstairs game room and outdoor spa were perfect for keeping the younger crowd entertained while we visited with friends from Denver, upstairs. We had several large dinners of 14+ people that we prepared in the gourmet kitchen and grill on the deck (just outside the kitchen). The view was great and we were away from the crowds! Beaver Creek is about 10 minutes away and Vail about 20. The property manager Eddie was very helpful and easy to contact. We hope to return soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

(verbatim from comments logged on our other website) We stayed here at the end of February and it was absolutely wonderful! The surroundings and views were so relaxing. We loved watching the elk in the morning over a cup of coffee! We skied almost every day we were there (Vail and Beaver Creek) and had a great time in the game room days we didn't ski. Woke up to spectacular views in beds that rivaled the best hotels. Highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

(verbatim from customer comment on our other website) "We visited over President's weekend plus a couple of days and couldn't have had a nicer time. The home was amazing! Our bedroom came with direct access to a deck with hot tub, all overlooking a rolling creek and the snow capped mountains. The decor was stunning, the windows and views just breathtaking. We enjoyed skiing, snowmobiling, shopping and several fine restaurants. It was grand-a perfect location! We will definetely remember this vacation as one of our best."Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

(verbatim quest comment from our other web site) "The photographs cannot do the home or its atmosphere justice! In spite of the expansive floorplan, there exists a cozy feeling which lends itself to excellent group settings. The house accomodated 7 of us and still had plenty of room for more friends or family. My favorite room-the kitchen-encourages large breakfasts and dinners at home, and while the Fly Fishing room may not be the largest bedroom of the house, it is absolutely comfortable (plus, it has direct access to the hot tub outside)! Who could ask for more than views of Beaver Creek, Arrowhead, and Vail's Back Bowls while having your morning coffee with friends."Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

(copied from quest comments on our other web site) "WOW! Six of us enjoyed the ski vacation of a lifetime in this fabulous home with room to spare. Between us we have skiied most of the finest resorts in the country and this home by far exceeds anything we have enjoyed. The close proximity to the slopes coupled with the valet parking at the resorts provides the convenience of slopeside accomodations but with the added value of a luxurious, private retreat."Did you find this review helpful? (verbatim from quest's comments on our other web site) "Gorgeous home!!! The only thing more remarkable than the views and location was the sheer comfort of the place. The quality of the furniture and amenities is top notch. The home is extremely spacious and welcoming. It was nice to be close enough to the slopes to be on the lift within 10 minutes of leaving the house, yet far enough to get away from the noise and congestion of the ski village."Did you find this review helpful?
