The cabin delivered in every way; the description of the accommodation and the location was spot on. We had an excellent week in the cabin - we could walk in to town for coffee and groceries or to the Gondola. The hot tub was a fantastic way to end each evening. Jeri was really helpful and easy to deal with; I would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Given how much snow we had in 11 days - 1.5 metres - the convenient location of PTC really made the difference. We'll be back again!

It was my second year in a row staying at the cabin...happened to be the week when a huge storm hit Tahoe with about 8 feet of snow. The owners were awesome in keeping the driveway plowed and walkways, patio and hottub shoveled! The cabin is in great shape, just as the description says...all amenities are there...the place is fabulous and I can't wait to plan next years trip! I would highly recommend this cabin! Close to Stateline and Heavenly...with a shuttle stop right outside the front door for those heavy snow days! Thank you Frank and Jeri for another great vacation week!

We are a family of four and we had plenty of room, everything was provided, the cabin was spotless, beautiful, centrally located....my kids wanted to move in! I have no doubt that we will be staying here the next time we visit Tahoe! Additionally, the mornings and evenings were very cool and the hot tub was put to use several times daily!! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Wonderful cabin in a perfect location

Stayed over the 4th of July weekend and had a great time. The owner was easy to deal with and very accomodating. The landscaping is beautiful front and back, we enjoyed the hot tub and even used the bbq one evening. The inside of the house is even better and open floor plan was great for keeping the family together whether in the kitchen or relaxing in the living room. (Loved the walk-in shower) We will be back here soon!

We got married in tahoe and this was where we stayed for out honeymoon and it was AWESOME. It is such a beautiful place and really close to everything. When you are inside the cabin it feels like you are miles away but in reality you are walking distance to the casinos and shops. I can't wait to stay here again.

Late Spring Ski Break

The Pioneer Trail Cabin was perfect for our vacation get away in SLT this year. We will definitely return as the location was perfect and the home inviting. We were able to walk to the casinos and restaurants in the evening the the house was equally suited for grilling steaks, watching movies or relaxing in the hot tub after a day on the slopes. Jeri has done a great job with remodelling the home as it has both a relaxed mountain cabin vibe mixed with cool modern touches like the slate counter tops in the kitchen and bath. Great for a couple looking for a little place to call their own for a week!

No complaints, cabin was beautiful, Jeri was very helpful. The cabin is on a main road but is tucked away enough for you to feel isolated. We will be back!!

We've stayed at Pioneer Trail Cabin in June 2009 for climbing/hiking trip. We love it the moment we saw it. Everything was perfect: location (close to the main roads, but away and quiet), unique design (wood & stone) and private patio. We highly recommend it and hope to return back.

Best place Ive ever stayed! The perfect location. My husband and I were in walking distance to everything, including the Heaven Gondola. We didn't get back into our car for 5 days. The cabin was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed. There were many very nice & thoughtful touches throughout the cabin. The owners assured me the hot tub would be pristine and it was! We slipped into it every morning at sunrise. It was wonderful. Oh, and what a deal! Hope we can get back soon.

We spent a week in February 09 skiing at Heavenly, Kirkwood, and Sierra. This cabin is beautifully finished with hardwood and stone and furnished with everything. It is located on the shuttle bus route to Heavenly and the village. We strongly recommend this to anyone staying in South Lake Tahoe in the winter.

We all had the most amazing trip, the cabin was just so cosy and gorgeous. It is very centrally located within walking distance to town which was a huge bonus. Thourougly recommend this cabin and thanks to the owners for making our stay so wonderful.

We just came back from a great holidays in South lake Tahoe. we stayed in Pioneer Trail cabin from 4 Dec to 9 Dec 08. Everything that was described in the info provided for rental was exactly there. My 3 children love the place and wished that we could stay there longer. The location is great. The place is very near Heavenly, Harrah, Havey etc. There are also many restaurants, and shopping places around that area. Ski rental shops are everywhere. Lake Tahoe is beautiful and it is only minutes away from the cabin. Both Teri and Frank were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommended this place to our friends. Thank you Teri and Frank.
