This cottage is the perfect little romantic getaway. Beautifully decorated in a bit of a beachy theme, not what you would expect for a Mountain Cabin. It was a nice surprise. The owner has thought of every little detail. Candles, Movies, Games, Music and recommendations of things to do and places to eat. It's locatedin a patch of woods with no "out the window" view. But just seconds from the Mountain side view. It was easy to find. Hot tub is located outside. Bird feeders and beautiful landscaping. Perfect for one couple and possibly one or two small children. Not suitable for much more than that due to space and bathroom. Very Peaceful. Only about 20-30 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, on the same mountain as Ruby Falls, Rocky City, and Incline Railroad. Walking distance to the hand gliding launch. Would Highly Recommend and stay again.

My Husband and I stayed at the Blue Cottage in April of this year( our honeymoon). Everything was just as it said in the info that we found online . The owner was great!!!!! the only thing that I would and did suggest is that she get newer pict., so that everyone could see what we did. Everything was set up wonderfully I wish that we could have stayed longer so that we could have spent more time at the cabin instead of sightseeing. So, guess that means another trip in the future. GREAT PLACE!!!!! I have alreadyy given several friends flyers and told them to check it out!!! Again Thanks!!!!!!

Natalie, As you know our visit to your lovely cottage Halloween weekend October 2010 was especially wonderful. My husband proposed to me on Halloween day. We were married May 21, 2011. WE would highly suggest your cottage to anyone who wants a quiet and peaceful get away. Lookout Mountain, Rock City, etc... and Chattanooga is only 20 minutes away but we just enjoyed the peace and quiet of staying at the cottage. I did, however, go to The Incline to buy some of their famous candy that I have been getting for 30+ years. Your cottage is so cozy and warm. We found that anything we needed, you had there. We both love to cookout so your grill was used often. Not to mention the hottub. We are having one delivered to our house this Friday... ha ha ha I am including a few pictures we took during our visit. As you will see from the pictures, Snuggles and Gracie had a good time also. Again, we thank you for a weekend we will never forget and an immaculately clean cottage. Your taste in decor is wonderful. Tracey also thanks you for keeping a secret (he told her on Saturday he was going to ask me Sunday, and she never said a word). We hope to visit again this year for our Halloween "Engagement Aniiversary". Hope you received our Announcement. Surely, it is God who saves me; I will Trust in Him and not be afraid Donna & Co.

Our family of four (including a toddler and preschooler) had a fantastic time at the Blue Cottage. The cottage is even lovelier than the pictures - the housekeeping immaculate, the furnishings and decor tasteful, and the gardens a delight. Our daughter loved sleeping on the swinging bed in the loft and there were plenty of unexpected extras for the kids, including children's movies and books. Thanks!

Little Blue Cottage in the woods, you made another lovely memory! We are here for our 25th anniversary (whew, looks like we made it) and Bruce and Zoe certifying to become hang gliding pilots! The cottage beach theme was indeed poetic since we have lived and worked in The Bahamas for the last 15 years, right down to the swinging bed - we built and managed several cottages on our Bahamas island - one of which had a swinging bed! We evenually had to provide a cleating system - 4 cleats at each corner and 4 cleats on the floor to be able to tie the bed down for those who didn't want to swing! But our 16 yrs old happily swung in the Blue Cottage (he is used to boats!) It was extremely hot - 101 degrees yesterday and we really enjoyed just reading and taking in the AC during the heat of mid day. We grilled, we watched butterflies and birds. I dead-headed the beautiful gardens so others following cold enjoy the daises, black-eyed susans, all dazzling. We picked and ate ripe tomatoes and dill from the garden. Bruce is still working in the Bahamas where home is and I am here with the kids for high school education. It is hard for our family to be apart. Little Blue Cottage in the woods, you served us well.

The Blue Cottage is truly the perfect "Getaway" and a perfect Honeymoon spot! We loved everything about it and didn't want to leave. We have decided that this is where we will spend our anniversaries for many years to come. This place is out of a storybook. It offers total seclusion, a beautiful natural setting with a little whimsy thrown in, convenience to civilization in case you start to panic (since I'm from the big city sometimes I have to go see that there are other people around), and emmaculate, first rate furnishings. I have searched for years for a place to go and hibernate to do my writing and ......eureka!

We have had such a wonderful 4th of July weekend. It is our first vacation with our 2 year old son to just be the three of us on vacation as our own little family. My husband randomly came upon the Blue Cottage online and we were lucky enough to get to stay here. The Blue Cottage is beautiful! We havel oved being here. Our plan for the weekend was to hang out around the Blue Cottage and that is just what we did. We definitely hope to come back soon.

This is the 2nd time to stay here at "The Blue Cottage" for us. We REALLY LOVE this place! It really is special and has so many wonderful things about it. This was the perfect place for our honeymooon retreat! We loved it! It ws such a great place to just get away. The cottage was beautiful inside. The decor was fantastic. The light dimmers, massaging bed, patio furniture, the fact that the kitchen was beyond well equipped were all great elements that aided in creating such an awesome experience and stay. There was such a peaceful environment and layout of the backyard, added to the effect. We will definitely be back!!!

After 2 months of training at Ft. Jackson, SC I was ready for a break with my sweetheart. We made last minute plans to meet in Chattanooga, & it seemed like The Blue Cottage was the only place available on short notice. THANK GOODNESS IT WAS! Robbie & I spent the entire weekend relaxing, and I feel refreshed and ready to head back and finish my training. As we traveled from Florida to Michigan, this 2-night stay in the little blue cottage was the perfect wind down for our spring vacation. Not only did our 7 year old appreciate the charm (it's a dollhouse) we all felt the joy that was so evidently invested in it's creation. This trip was a spur of the moment thing to get away and rekindle our relationship. Not expecting much we were overwelmed walking in. The cottage is wonderful. Everything about it made us feel cozy and relaxed. The hot tub was definately a plus. We played games and watched a movie. All of these things were such a plus to our weekend. It rained the whole time so we missed out on hanggliding, but everything else made up for it. Sticky Fingers and Ghangis Khan were great places to eat. Enjoy this place, we sure did.

We have both been under a lot of stress at work and The Blue Cottage was the perfect place to unwind and relax. After driving 7 hours it was nice to come in to a place that was so warm and inviting. We are so excited that we chose to stay in "The Blue Cottage" rather than a hotel for our honeymoon! The cottage is ADORABLE, and we are looking forward to coming back in the future to celebrate our anniversary. We have definietly made some wonderful memories that we will cherish FOREVER. For those visiting the area, be sure to check out the Tenneessee Aquarium, Lookout Mountain Incline, Rock City and the Lost Sea, which is in Sweet Water, TN. Rock City was probably our favorite, but we enjoyed them all! We are sad to be heading back to Dallas, TX so soon, but we will be visiting again some time in the future.

This was our first weekend away together since our son was born five months ago. What a wonderful place to relax, reconnect and sleep! We hiked at Cloudland Canyon State Park, which ws beautiful, went to the Tenneessee Aquarium, Imax theater, visited Ruby Falls and Rock City and enjoyed an elegant dinner at St. John's Restaurant in Chattanooga. The sea bass and New York Strip are amazing! Out of all those things we enjoyed hanging out at The Blue Cottage the most. This is such a well put together place. We truly enjoyed our stay!

This beautiful cottage in the woods was much more than we ever expected. Every little attention to detail made us feel at home and completely welcome. What a sweet surprise deep in the woods! Love the winding stair case and loft! All the bright colors anre so happy - fun - and relaxed. The attention to lighting is perfect. Love the landscaping! We really enjoyed ourselves here over the last two days. The place was VERY clean and WELL KEPT. That made us feel right at home - definitely better than a hotel or a cabin. It felt like a Florida home - which was certainly welcoming considering it's been freezing here and even snowed! It's funny that we got away for spring break, only to see snow. Our son loved the loft room (he's 5 yrs old) even though the swinging bed kept him up, so he ended up sleeping UNDER the bed...he felt like he was camping! We played games, made a fire and roasted marshmallows, and got in the hot tub. We had a blast! Thank you so much!

My husband, 2 daughters and I came to Chattanooga from Florida on a house hunting mission. As we are moving here very soon. The cottage made the trip feel more like a vacation and sure beat a hotel! We thoroughly enjoyed all of the thoughtful ammenities. Our 6 year old felt like a princess in the swinging bed! We have already told several people about this little gem of a place on the mountain and know that many of them will want to stay here, too.l We enjoyed visiting Rock City, Ruby Falls, the Aquarium, Children's museum. Clumpy's for ice cream and a ride on the carousel in Coolidge Park. We at delicious fresh mexican at Taco Mamacitas. Thank you.

Carson age nine, this is the best cottage ever! We all agree, it is a wonderul place! If only we had more time to spend here. We would have loved to just hang out around the cottage for a day, but we had t let the grandkids experience teh aquarium, childeren's discovery center, and or course, Rock City! We (Bob & I) welcomed in the New Year here at the Blue Cottage." This (2) day stay was very special to both of us. It was so unique which we were blessed to get at the last minute. Jim made a wonderful suggestion to eat at the Canyon Grill, just several miles down the road to the left as you exit the driveway. It was a great & delicious meal on New Year's Eve. The Bi-Lo grocery store in Trenton was good, too. They have lots of neat things to get to eat, too. Jim & Natalie we wish you both the best. Thanks for the wonderful "get-away."

Lovely cottage with serene setting! This cottage had everything we could have asked for. This was a very nice three-day getaway for a birthday weekend! After three days we learned our way around to Chattanooga and even ended up in Lafayette on evening. The cottage is beautifully decorated and I'm sure it is really nice in the spring and summer. One suggestion I have is a Pergola over the hot tub area for privacy and accent! Thanks so much!

Straight out of a magazine from the Key West colors in the Living room to the Tuscany bedroom and bathroom. This place was amazing and we will be back. We came up for the weekend for our 22nd year anniversary and my husband's birthday. We had a GREAT time. The attention to detail and the cleanliness was appreciated. I wish we could have taken advantage of the outdoors more, but it was too cold (24 & 28 degrees) in the morning and evenings. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful place. Natalie & Jim, We were delighted with the blue cottage. Warm, friendly and updated. Nov. 24th it rained, so our planned activities were cut short. We visited Ruby Falls (just terrific) and Tues. 25th toured Chickamauga Battlefield & Rock City (both great). For dinner, the Lookout Mountain Cafe (food good & hospitality great). Ran out of time for Incline Railway. Suggestions: Types of food to bring, particularly breakfast items!!! Chilly weather - window treatments might be a thought. We really loved the atmosphere. Much better than "rustic cabins." Thank you so much. The 3 of us had a wonderful time being here & being together away from our daily lives at work & college. Thank for allowing us to bring our minature daschound. Look forward to coming back & telling our friends.

This was mine and Eric's first vacation as a couple and we couldn't have picked a better spot. The cottage is so cozy and feels like a home away from home. We took advantage of the grill, hot tub and quiet away from the city. We will certainly be returning if we'ere back in the area and we'll be recommending to all of our friends! What a sweet little cabin! We stayed here with our 5 year old and 10 month old sons and had a wonderful time. It is refreshing to find a vacation cottage to rent that is in more of a contemporary style than most of the other cabins available. The are either very rustic or just plain outdated usually. But not the Blue Cottage - it reminded us of home. We appreciated the attention to details as well - the birdfeeders were full, potted plants on the patio were healthy, and there was a corkscrew right where one should be! We hope to return sometime. May all of you enjoy this getaway as much as we have.
