Hi, we stayed at the Villa from March 21st til April 3rd. This was our fourth trip to Eleuthera which has become a special place for us. Our stay at your Villa was our most enjoyable. The views were fantastic, the house was clean and was well laid out. The grounds were very nice, and the caretaker, Freddie, was very helpful. We would definitely look to stay there again. Thanks for sharing your Villa with us.
Owner response:Hello Darlene, We are extremely pleased that you and your family were happy and comfortable at the Villa and enjoyed the views, and the grounds. We are also pleased that Freddie was able to assist you in making your stay even more memorable. We hope you will come back to visit with us and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Villa very soon. John & Linda

Of the fifty guests spread over eight houses all within 2 miles of the Rainbow Inn, we were most fortunate to be lodged in Leisure Lee. Having the opportunity to visit many of the other houses throughout the week-long stay, it was clear Leisure Lee was superior to all others. The balcony view of both the Caribean & Atlantic, proximity to private beaches, great snorkeling and to the Queen's Highway made this a perfect retreat for our special occasion and just to get-away. Our next return trip to Eleuthera will definately include another stay at Leisure Lee.
Owner response:We are so pleased that your stay at Leisure Lee was an enjoyable one and we were able to meet your requirements to enable you and your family to have a wonderful holiday and enjoy your very special occasion. Thank you and we look forward to your visiting with us again. John & Linda

Owners are attentive and truly care about your stay, they are available either by phone or email mostly all the time (even during your stay!) The city had a leak so water was turned off and switched to well which had sufficient for everything we needed, the manager came by and I believe he switched it back to city at some point but we never even knew. This lovely home sits on top of a hill and is visible from the main road at the bottom and the views are breathtaking to say the least! Pictures don't even do it justice! The wifi came in and out but was fine (hey your on vacation!) the electric does go out, but for us it only happened at night and came back shortly (no worries there!) Everything in the home is up to date and functioned just like knew, no odors (we are picky with mold allergies) no mold, everything was extremely tidy and beautiful! Outside shower, blackout blinds, blenders (for frozen drinks :) and the view, can't say enough about it. The island people are very friendly and always willing to give you directions. Between gas (5.30 gallon we rented a kia sport could've gotten away with a tank and a half easily and drove every day) and groceries, eating out only once (Rainbow Inn very nice btw) and 2 cases of heineken we spent close to 600.00 us~Not bad at all. Get fish on the dock in either at James Cistern off the pier or Govenors Harbor pier and you will get the best Nassau red grouper and conch in the world. The gentleman at the dock in James Cistern will even prepare a conch salad for 10 us and 1/2 a grouper around 7-8 lbs 30 us. The Lees do a wonderful job with their rental property, have an available manager for any issues and both will give you any and all advice they can to make sure you have the time of your life! Blessings to the Lee's and their manager for such a relaxing stay, words can not express how relaxed we are and happy we found such a beautiful home & island. Thank you again! Ronald & Charlotte
Owner response:Dear Charlotte and Ronald, We are so extremely happy to read your comments. We were very concerned when you called us about the water and are very relieved to hear that the problem was with the city rather than the home itself. It is so refreshing to hear of your love for the local cuisine and the friendliness of the Eleutherans and we thank you for expressing that the way you did. We are very very happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope you have a safe return. We also look forward to your return to Leisure Lee in the future. Thank you for telling your friends and the wonderful review. Regards John & Linda

Just breath taking. Very comfortable home and perfectly situated between several fun places! Visit The Laughing Iguana and have a chat with Pitagay. Go down to Beach Club and maybe you'll get lucky like us and see the dolphins swimming just off the beach. Or go to Bottom Harbour and see the green turtles. All are minutes away. But this house has beautiful views. I enjoyed looking out at breakfast every morning. For those of you that can't get away from your TV, there is DirecTV. But if anything, this is a perfect house for an island adventure! You can't go wrong here! Enjoy!
Owner response:We are thrilled that you have come back to stay with us and hope you will visit with us again soon. Your review shows how undiscovered Eleuthera really is since, as owners, we have not had the luck to see the dolphins and some of the places explored - there is always so much to see and do. Thank you. John & Linda

The villa was beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice~ Great location, close to beach and dining. The villa had plenty of space for our 3 children and was very well equipped with all the comforts of home! No detail was overlooked. We loved our stay at the villa and cannot wait to return!!
Owner response:Thank you very much for your kind words. We have endeavoured to make "Leisure Lee" your home away from home and it is so nice to hear that you have enjoyed our villa and our beautiful Island of Eleuthera. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

"Leisure Lee" is a quiet, centrally located vacation home close to Gregory Town (home of the famous annual Pineapple Festival in June) and Governor's Harbour. The house is situated on top of a hill and has a panoramic view from the wrap-around balcony overlooking both the Atlantic Ocean and Exuma Sound. The photos online do not do the home justice! The owners obviously pay attention to the details and it shows in the beautiful decor. Just about every appliance and cooking tool you could need are there, sharp knives, corkscrew, nice large coffee mugs and more! The beds are comfy and there is no lack of pillows! Thanks to the tall screened-in sliding glass doors, you can see the ocean while cooking, sitting at the dining table eating, and also lounging in the comfy sofas in the TV area! Balmy breezes make it easy to go without AC for a real break from the hustle and bustle of city life! The beach is a few minutes away where you can go shelling and dive for sand dollars, or just sit on a sand bar in the middle of the crystal clear waters. We hope to be back to stay at "Leisure Lee" again real soon!

We visited the week of May 22, 2011. The pictures of Leisure Lee did not capture the beauty of this hill top home. And try as I may, neither did my camera; almost a 360 degree panorama of sparkling water, lush vegetation and beautiful sunsets. Rainbow Bay changed colors as the hours did and you have a perfect view of the beach down below. The home is spacious, clean, and attractive. We cooked a lot of our meals and the kitchen had everything I needed down to sharp knives and a great grill! The gardens and yard were lovely with many mature coconut palms and flowering plants. The outdoor shower was such a sweet surprise as we used it every afternoon. Something delicious about showering overlooking the Caribbean! We absolutely loved the bikes and biked almost every day..perfect for the terrain. In fact we want to buy the same kind to use at our home. We started visiting Eleuthera in the mid-70s, staying around the Gregory Town area. Leisure Lee is our 4th home we have rented in Rainbow Bay and absolutely our favorite of any place we have ever visited. We have rented both on the Caribbean side and Atlantic, which was our favorite. However there is no comparison to this hilltop home and the mesmerizing panoramic views through every window. Every morning I would walk down the hall and my mouth would drop as I woke up to the views. We found ourselves simply wanting to stay on the porch more than any other time we have visited, enjoying the constant sea breeze. For those new to Eleuthera, Rainbow Bay is located conveniently in the middle of the island, about at it's narrowest width. It is near Surfers Beach, in between Governors Harbour and Gregory Town. Nothing is too far and there are many attractions close by, The Cliffs, Hatchet Bay and Preachers Caves, Glass Window bridge, the French Leave beach and more. This Family Island is not for those that need a night life and action...everything is slow and easy. The Eleutherans are sweet and reserved and welcome you home wherever you go. I would recommend this place to all that are looking for a great house and a relaxing vacation.
Owner response:The moment we saw the view from the balcony of Leisure Lee and the Main Room it was love at first sight and we are so pleased that our guests feel the same. We have made it our goal to make Leisure Lee as clean, comfortable and hassle free as possible - your home away from home and a true holiday experience. Thank you for your wonderful comments and we hope you will come back and visit us again soon.

February 19th to March 5th, 2011 When we arrived, we were very impressed by the house. It looked even nicer and bigger as shown on the photos. Usually it is the other way around. It is furnished so nice and cosy that we felt comfortable, like home right away. The view is amazing and we enjoyed sitting outside as much as sleeping in the comfortable decorated bedrooms. From the beginnign the owners have been so helpful to all of our needs and questions. They even bought a new babyseat for the car, which we found more than generous. As we got married on this beautiful Island, we loved being there and will remember it forever.

My wife and 9 year old son stayed at 'Leisure Lee' at the end of July 2011. The listing details on this web site are accurate and the photos as well accurately reflect the property's appearance. The house was well outfitted and had a number of books and magazines to help with getting settled in and knowing where to shop, eat and sight-see, etc. The house was very quiet and peaceful with lovely views off of the wrap around balcony. Rainbow bay was just a five minute ride away and was one of the loveliest beaches we found on the island. Groceries could be found reasonably close by and there were several good restaurants within a short driving range. It's also a nice central location for sightseeing. Owners were very prompt in responding to our inquiries and helped to set everything up quickly. In short, a lovely location, a clean, charming home with great views and good access to all that Eleuthera has to offer. Highly recommende.

I love the house, its location, the awesome views from the wrap around balcony and the spacious cathedral ceiling Main Room with four large double doors showing panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean and Exuma Sound. It is a beautifully furnished and fully equipped home - centrally located and convenient to grocery stores, several great restaurants and lovely beaches. I will be back again.
