I stayed at this house for 8 weeks commencing August 4th. The furnishings were very worn and outdated. The property is not clean or well maintained. The listing photos do not accurately represent the condition of the property . The yard and garden were not maintained. There was not even a microwave in the kitchen for our use. The television operating system is in a closet and one must stand in front of the closet in order to turn the channel or adjust volume. The linens were faded and thread bare. The owners live out of the country and there was no local management on call to fix the air conditioner or the shower door which were both broken. The overall appearance of this property is unkept and poorly maintained. I would not recommend this property.
Owner response:These tenants left our house in a terrible state. They damaged furniture, left stains on the carpet, left trash in the yard and as a result bond was withheld to pay for cleaning and repairs. Because of this they threatened retribution by leaving a "scathing review on VRBO". This is it. Our current tenants love the place so much they are doing a photo shoot for Nylon magazine in the house and have offered to give us extra photos.

Thanks for letting my family into your beautiful home. My kids loved the play house and I couldn't get them out of the Spa pool. Really lovely stay.

Love this home. We would buy it if they would let us! Great location and everything we needed. Simone and Gregor were great landlords and very helpful about the neighborhood. We look forward to coming back next Summer. Thanks.
