RECEPTIVE STRUCTURE. Villa delle Stelle is a charming little stone property which is situated in a beautiful hamlet which lies just below the hills of the natural park of the Sienese countryside, just a few km away from Siena and the most famous Tuscan cities such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa, which reside between the well known valleys of Chianti and the Val d’Orcia. This cosy villa lies on the edge of the hamlet and is completely independent where the guest have there own private area where they can eat out in the garden under the lovely evergreen trees, using the barbecue at disposal. The interior of this villa has wooden ceilings beams, and a lovely arch in brick that separates the kitchen from the dining area and the living room, where there is a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and has two panoramic windows illuminating both the kitchen and the dining room. A suggestive staircase made of travertine stone leads up to the first floor. Villa delle Stelle is perfect for who is looking for a relaxing vacation in the countryside but at the same time is curious to visit the wonderful cities of the Tuscan region. On the property grounds guest can go jogging through it’s private woods.
Interior
From the front door you walk in directly into the living room with the fireplace, on your right is the kitchen which is open but divided by a low wall decorated with hand painted ceramics that can be used as a table, on this floor you will find also a bathroom with shower and washing machine. The first floor reachable via an internal stone staircase is composed of two double bedrooms, where in one it is possible to put an extra bed, and a twin bedroom. There are two bathrooms one with shower and other with a bathtub. This floor is accessible directly from the garden.
Park
The hamlet is located right below the natural park of the Sienese mountains. The Villa delle Stelle is surrounded by 12 hectares of land, enriched with evergreen trees, bushes of rosemary, lavender and cypresses which line the entrance road to the property. Directly outside the kitchen door there is a lovely garden where there is a stone table where you can delight in afternoon lunches under the trees, or for romantic candle light dinners. The whole garden is well kept with a very green lawn, and numerous pots of colourful flowers which are placed around the courtyard and the swimming pool.
Swimming Pool
The specialty of this hamlet is certainly the swimming pool shared with other guests staying within the Hamlet. This new construction is perfectly harmonized with it’s surroundings, integrating itself with the natural cliff wall that overlooks it as it is completely paved inside and out with the local beige stone of Travertino. It has a large central pool and two hydro massage pools which is also suitable for children; one contains a geyser pump which is placed within one of the natural caves. A waterfall was created of approximately 5 meters that descends from the rock above. It is a very suggestive scene and at night it is illuminated with fountains that create a marvelous effect. Although the swimming pool is at the disposition of the whole hamlet it is very large and the guest have copious space to swim or sunbathe. The pool is open from the last Saturday of April to the last Saturday of October, it distances 50 meters from the property and measures 16 x 8 m with a variable depth of 1,20 to 3,00 m. The pool area is paved with travertino stone. This area is equipped with comfortable sun lounges, deck chairs and umbrellas. Beside the swimming pool there is a particular gazebo that is also a mini bar where you can enjoy drinks and ice cream.

- Villa delle Stelle is located in Rosia, on the slopes of the beautiful Montagnola Senese nature park, a few kilometers from the most famous Tuscan cities (Siena, Lucca and Firenze), between Chianti’s area and Montalcino’s Brunello area. The property is near many big Art and Historical centres such as Siena (18 km), San Gimignano (35 km), Florence (60 km), San Gimignano (35 km), Pisa (75 km). The countryside invites you to stop and look around, going for walks and relaxig, maybe while bathing at the river (15 km) or taking a day-trip to the seaside (70-90 km). Motorway A1 is 40 km from Rosia and the nearest railway station is Siena (17 km).
