This beautiful, non-smoking, 3300 square foot custom built home is located in the prestigious Granite Ridge development near Shaver Lake. Built in 2002, this home has all the amenities of a luxury home. The lot is large with parking for six cars. The living and dining rooms have high ceilings with a cedar finish and floor to ceiling windows. This combination makes for a spectacular view of the high mountains.
The large gourmet kitchen features cherry cabinets, granite counters and a tile floor. It has new appliances such as a microwave, double ovens, dishwasher and a double door refrigerator with an ice maker. In the middle of kitchen is a bar which seats four. The table in the dining room seats ten comfortably. While eating you can enjoy an unobstruted view of the high mountains. A gas BBQ sits just outside the dining room.
The living room has a large rock fireplace with a built in TV. In the corner of this large room is a glass top table which will seat 4. This room makes for great entertaining as it is open to the kitchen and dining areas.
Travioli Mountain Retreat consists of five bedrooms: two which are master bedroom suites. Our four children each decorated their bedroom depicting their own taste, giving each bedroom a unique quality. Total, the home has two king size beds, three queen size beds and a futon in the loft. The master bedroom has double sinks, a shower and a large indoor Jacuzzi bathtub which is surrounded by windows overlooking large pine trees. Satellite televisions, VCR, DVD/CD are located in the living room, loft and two bedrooms.
A secluded spa is situated on the outside deck providing a great opportunity to visit at the end of the day while star gazing. Upstairs outside bedroom , Bella Vista, and the loft is another deck. A pool table and foosball table are located in the garage for added enjoyment.
For those water enthusiasts, Shaver Lake is a five minute drive. Boating, water sports and fishing are prevalent during the summer months. For those who enjoy sailing, Huntington Lake is a brief drive to the north. It is host to the Sail Boat Regatta in July. Both lakes are surrounded by tall evergreen pines which reflect off the crystal clear water. Many marked hiking trails are available for the outdoorsman.
Sierra Summit Resorts provides a wonderful snow skiing experience. Six chair lifts take skiers to the top of the mountain giving the skier a beautiful view of Huntington lake far below. Sierra Summit Ski Resort offers runs from the novice to the experienced. The home backs up to a green belt which makes for a great sledding area right out the back door.
The home was built for a large happy family and those who come will make memories and feel its warmth and joy within its walls.
