While enjoying your stay you will have the ability to bike, kayak, and snowmobile right outside your door. With trails that will take you into town or off the beaten path to other areas throughout the Upper Peninsula. We are, after all, Michigan's Coolest City and designated #10 in the world for recreational travel.
If downhill skiing is your preference we have Marquette Mountain with everything from beginner to advanced skiing/snowboarding. Don't forget our lakes and streams. Whether you're an avid fisherman or just enjoy a day at the beach, you'll appreciate the crystal clear waters of Lake Superior the largest freshwater lake in the world, which is just minutes away either on foot, by bike, or kayak
