If you're planning a family vacation, reunion, wedding or just touring the Finger Lakes, Bristol Harbour Resort nestled in the beautiful Bristol Hills is the perfect place to be. The condos are on the cliff overlooking Canandaigua Lake and the resort boasts every amenity necessary to ensure a good time is had by all.
Canandaigua is the most popular of the Finger Lakes because of it's proximity to Rochester, crystal clear water, and nearby wineries, shopping and restaurants. It also has multi-million dollar mansions and recently took over from Lake Tahoe as the most expensive lake per square foot in the USA! Bristol Mountain Ski Center is also just minutes away making it a popular, year-round destination.
This condo is the largest offered on this website and is rarely available for rental. Its 1500 sq. ft. seem even more spacious since it's all on one level and the extra windows make it lighter and brighter than most. There is plenty of parking for both renters and their guests, and the unit is meticulously maintained by the owner who oversees the cleaning and makes sure everything is pristine prior to a guest's arrival. The master has a walk-in closet and it's own recently remodeled Tuscan style bathroom with copper vessel sinks, granite counters and a walk-in tiled shower. The guest bathroom, also remodeled in 2008, serves the two additional bedrooms. The condo is well stocked with linens, dishes, etc. and has all the amenities of home.

We're very active and love to hike and swim, so Canandaigua Lake is the perfect place to do that. The water is so clean and usually gets into the low 70's in the Summer. There's a full-time lifeguard at Bristol Harbor during the school holidays, which makes the baby beach and lake a safe place for children to swim and play.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
No words can describe what a full moon over the lake looks like from our balcony! It's magical and if you truly want to connect with your spiritual side, Canandaigua Lake is the space to do it. It looks more like Switzerland!

My husband and I spent a week in this condo in August, and really enjoyed it. It was very clean, very quiet, and had everything one would need in the kitchen - even a big crockpot! We enjoyed the beautiful views and the lovely beach that was only a short walk, and a big elevator ride, away. The owner contacted me several times to make sure things were what I expected, and was quick to return my deposit in full. I immediately recommended this place to my brother, and wouldn't hesitate to return myself. My only warning? Do NOT drop a metal hair clip into the master bath's lovely metal sink as your husband is sleeping on the other side of the wall. He said it sounded like a very loud gong!

We have been returning to Canandaigua for the past 35 years. When you arrive, you will see breathtaking views from the balcony of this spacious, immaculate condominium. You will be greeted by chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of wine compliments of a welcoming and caring hostess who will address any concerns or questions you may have. The condominium has all the comforts of home and is well-equipped and stocked. It is well-represented by the photographs provided and is very clean and well-maintained. Our recent stay was for one month and it still was not long enough. There is so much to do in the area from swimming, boating, golfing, shopping, dining at fine restaurants, hiking at Watkins Glen, art galleries, and cooking and wine tasting classes at the Canandaigua Wine and Culinary Centre. I would highly recommend this condominium to friends and family. We can't wait for our next trip back to Canandaigua!

My family stayed a long spring weekend and it was wonderful The pictures of the condo are exactly what you will find when you arrive. Everything was clean and neat and welcoming. We had no problem cooking breakfast and lunch...the kitchen is well stocked and workable..but we ate dinner out! The homeowner answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. I would definitely return...it really is a GREAT spot!

This condo was just perfect for our group of 5 women. The condo was very clean and well stocked upon arrival, with clean sheets and towels, plenty of dishes, etc.. The pictures on the website accurately reflected the nice look inside and out. The owner was prompt in her responses to our inquiry, she visited us upon arrival to make sure everything was okay, and she quickly answered our questions and provided us with items we needed during our stay. Access to the beach as well as to the City of Canandaigua was convenient. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning overlooking the lake and having drinks down on the dock in the evening. We had a wonderful lunch at the New York State Wine and Culinary Center and a great dinner at the Cove Restaurant at Steamboat Landing. We spent a day at Bristol Harbour Resort, just a 1/2 mile up the road. We took a Zumba and Yoga class, had manicures and pedicures and enjoyed a nice lunch overlooking the lake. Shopping downtown Cananadaigua was fun, too. We also took a hike at nearby Onanda Park. We would highly recommend this rental to anyone interested in a spacious, clean, and very nice condo. It is everything that was described and more!

My family and I enjoyed this condo for a week in August 2009. Everything was just PERFECT--from the wine and chocolate covered strawberries which were left to greet us; to the friendly private beach where my girls played from morning 'till dusk. We highly recommend this condo because the owner sincerely cares about the comfort of her tenants. It is clean, comfortable, and well equipped--just like home. THANK YOU for a fabulous week Jennifer!

WOW! This property was beyond any of our expectations and THE BEST of any we have ever encountered. We have traveled extensively in the US and overseas and stayed in many time-share exchanges and VRBO rentals...all very nice, but this one wins the prize! We stayed with two other adult couples and we were all VERY comfortable. Every amenity has been considered and is provided. The owner truly goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and was very easily accessible to answer questions and provide helpful information. The view of the lake from the living areas and the very large balcony is truly spectacular!! We had never stayed in the Finger Lake region and found the location of Bristol Harbor allowed convenient access to a multitude of outdoor activities on the lake, hiking in the beautiful NY State Parks, wineries, gourmet restaurants and charming lakeside villages to explore. We even attended a great concert with very famous artists performing at the Canandaigua amphitheater-just a short drive into town. We give this property our highest recommendation and hope to be able to return again soon!

We stayed in the comfortable and spacious apartment for 2 weeks in July 09 and enjoyed every minute of it. Very light, large bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms very well equiped with all the amenities, usefull wireless internet connection, easy access to the beach and very quiet. What else can we ask if we want to enjoy a wonderful vacation. Gordon and I really recommend this 3 bedroom apartment because we can feel that the owners care their guests. We will certainly come back as often as we can.

I have visited this area all my life on trips to see my grandmother, but I never realized quite how gorgeous it was until I saw the view from the porch. We enjoyed seeing the sun rise across the lake, stunning foliage on the mountains, the wake of the moon across the lake in the evening, and views of sailboats from the easily accessible marina. The condo is large, well-maintained, and conveniently located. I look forward to returning on future visits.
