Aloha! Please take a look at our wonderful oceanfront villa in the Waikoloa Beach Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii.
With the view of the spectacular Kohala Coast greeting you when you first open the door and the beautiful island decor you may never want to leave!
Location: Our villa is one of the few Hali'i Kai units that is an oceanfront ground floor unit- we are unit 15C. This allows you to open the sliding glass door and walk right out to the lush green grass. The sound of the waves splashing on the lava rocks will relax you instantly.
Villa interior: This new two bedroom is our home away from home and the comfortable decor reflects that. This is old world Hawaii meets modern day comfort.
Our home has the perfect living room featuring a large LCD television with DVD player, i-pod docking station, and surround sound. The dining table seats 6 and the gourmet kitchen is equipped with all of the culinary essentials; including granite counters. Off the living room the spacious lanai has a sofa and table ( there is a hibachi grill to use as well).
Each bedroom has its own full bath and LCD TV with DVD players. The spacious master bathroom has granite counters and large walk-in shower. The master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a queen size bed. There is also a twin pull-out available. Each bathroom has an assortment of island scented Kohala Spa products for your use, which makes your island stay even more complete.
For your convenience there is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer. We offer a full supply of bath and beach towels, bed linens, hair dryer, laundry supplies, coffee maker, and wireless internet access. We also have fabulous, reliable assistance offered if needed- it is just a phone call away.
Amenities- you are literally steps from the Hali'i Kai Ocean Club, which is a fantastic oceanfront clubhouse featuring the spectacular ocean views, large multi-level swimming pool, heated sandy bottom lava rock spa, aqua loungers and a children's pool that is 1 foot deep. This is the place you can enjoy the luxurious amenities of a first rate resort with a poolside restaurant and bar. There are outdoor covered dining and lounge areas, spa towels, and an oceanside exercise cabana with stairmaster, weights and elliptical machine. At the Ocean Club there is access to Hali'i Kai's concierge service; as well as an outdoor BBQ area. The Ocean Club is the perfect place to unwind.
Local Area and Attractions- One of the wonderful things about Hali'i Kai is that during the whale season you can easily see the Humpback whales playing in the sea. From the villa or the Ocean Club you can take an easy scenic five minute stroll on the "Trail by the Sea' to the Hilton Waikoloa Village. There you will find restaurants, the Kohala Spa and the Dolphin Quest Lagoon.
Our villa is perfect for your next family vacation, romantic honeymoon, or for a relaxing getaway. You can enjoy all the amenities right in Hali'i Kai or go to the local areas; such as the King's shops which features a Roy's restaurant. There is also Queen's Marketplace, 2 world class spa's, luau shows, and a gourmet marketplace at the Mauna Lani mall. The land of the Big Island offers so much from its natural beauty. You can visit the volcano, waterfalls, turtles (honu), horseback riding, snorkeling, fishing, and so many lookout points and parks. What a great condo! Just got married and my wife and I decided to spend a couple of weeks on the Big Island for our honeymoon. We wanted to find a place that a). Had unobstructed ocean views and b). was close to nearby shops and restaurants. The oceanfront Villa at Hali'l Kai had it all. We were very impressed at the high quality of finishes at the property and was pleased to find that kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance/utensil that we needed. Linens were top notch and the place even had a stereo with a hookup for our ipods! When we got to the property, we were surprised at how close it was located to the pool/fitness/restaurant area...just a few steps and we were there. I can imagine that others staying in the Hali'l Kai community had a lot farther walk then we did. Would recommend spending the extra $$ to insure that you stay at one of the ocean front villas...otherwise, why come to Hawaii if you can't see the water from your lanai!!Such an amazing place and so close to the King/Queen Shops that we never felt like leaving!! We will definitely be back soon.

This is such a cozy condo with great features. I loved the lanai which has amazing ocean views and whale spotting. It has everything you need from nice kitchen to comfortable beds and bathrooms. Must mention how outstandingly clean it is. It's conveniently located, close to shopping centers and the Hilton resorts, not too close where there's privacy. The best part is the pool with a cute cafe and gym. I had the most relaxing times at the pool. Go in the jacuzzi at night and stargaze, amazing!!!!!!! Staying here is way better than any 5 star hotel because you'll get a cozy, homely feeling and not be bothered by thousand other tourists. It will keep you coming back.

Our great experience with this unit really began the minute we started discussing the rental with the owners. Very professional, accommodating, and just plain friendly. We could tell before we arrived we had chosen the right place! The minute we walked in, we knew our inkling was right. Honestly, we could not have asked for anything more! The condo exceeded our expectations on every level with small touches throughout making it a fantastic place to stay. Top of the line appliances, dishes, furniture, bedding, outdoor recliners, the list could go on. It's obvious the owner has an eye for decorating and everything in the condo was given thought and had a special touch. This isn't a white dishes, neutral furniture, bare bones rental - this one is meant to impress and enforce that bright Hawaiian attitude and it definitely achieves it! Being property managers ourselves, we had really put thought into the location and we were please we had. In our opinion, this is likely the best spot in Hali Kai for a couple of different reasons. Number one would be the ocean view - whales breached / jumped every day and we spent hour enjoying them! Second was the proximity to the pool...very very short walk but not so close the noise or people were an issue. This was a VERY private unit with few people walking past you at anytime which meant relaxing was easy. We were also a quick 15 minute walk to the shops, very close to the Hilton, and maybe ten minutes from a great black sand beach. We got a chance to take in some golf at the Waikoloa Beach Course as well which was phenomenal and minutes from the condo. A quick note about Hali Kai as a complex - what we enjoyed most here was the almost hybrid idea of condo living with a few hotel perks. Having a bar at the pool was great since I'm a huge fan of that 2pm Pina Colada! Plus happy hour just before the sun goes down was an added perk. We also thought the food at the pool restaurant was delicious! We only wish we had taken advantage of it earlier so we could have hit it up a few more times before our departure. A few nights we also took the opportunity to use the pool BBQ when we had a slightly larger group and that worked out really well. The ambience was beautiful (very hotel like) and the staff there very accommodating. We also really enjoyed the use of the tennis courts - we had brought our racquets and court access was free. We would come back here in a heart beat and I don't hesitate in recommending it to anyone

The beds in this unit were soooo comfortable! The view of the ocean, the wales, and Maui off in the distance to start the day were breathtaking. All these things we saw from the back patio. Full kitchen close to market made for affordable meals and if we wanted to go out, plenty of dining option close by. Don't eat at Sansei. Please! Everything was in driving distance with in an hour and I highly recommend going to see the observatory. Cant wait to go back!

We flew in at night and what a surprise when we woke up in the morning. From the lanai, the humpback whales were in full swing, breeching the water in their mating ritual. The condo is close to restaurants and shops and it is very easy to navigate around the island from there. The actual condo was immaculate, and the pool was beautiful. The sunsets from the lanai or the pool are amazing. It was way better than staying in a hotel. It was cheaper and having the kitchen was great. We went to the farmers markets and the fresh fish market down the road and cooked dinner most nights. I am a chef and was very happy with the kitchen and it's usefulness. Definitely will go back and stay there again. The manager was so nice and helpful and was able to point is in any direction we needed. Thanks

I love this condo, I have stayed there a few times, it is so close to the resorts, golf, shops....you are a stones throw from the ocean and furniture is great!

My family and I really enjoyed our vacation at Hali'i Kai. We felt very comfortable there- the condo is beautiful and has every convenience we were looking for. My 3 children are all different ages and they all had a great time. Between the pool and all the local sites the BIg Island has to offer we are adding this as one of our favorite places to visit. We cannot wait for our next trip in December!

The unit was spectacular! Close to the pool, great views of the water, clean, boogie boards, etc...Thanks! The dolphins swam right off the shore one morning while we were having that great Kona coffee so that was cool! I will definetly be going back to that unit!
