Location: Sunny and Serene, Vineyard View is located on a quiet, private road with a vineyard and forested mountains just beyond the backyard. This home is one level mile and easy walking distance to downtown Guerneville's nightlife, restaurants, shopping, and Johnson's Beach.
House: is a casually elegant, light-filled, contemporary home with cathedral ceilings, light wood paneling, amazing hardwood floors, top-quality furnishings, and a fabulous view of vineyards. This home sleeps eight on three levels. Through a gorgeous tiled gate and down a lush garden path, a set of steps leads to a large deck and the main living floor of this home. The living room has a cathedral ceiling, a wood-burning fireplace with slate surround, a 37" satellite LCD HDTV with DVR, and a ceiling fan. Off the living room, there's a formal dining room with seating for eight and stereo with CD player. Just beyond, the sunny kitchen has a tile floor, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, and a gas stove. Off a short hallway, there are two bedrooms with queen beds, ceiling fans and garden views, and a bathroom with marble floor and shower surround (shower only). Upstairs, there's a loft with a large master suite. The bedroom has a queen bed with luxury linens, a ceiling fan, and an I-pod dock, and is open to the living room (with a privacy screen). The master bath has a granite vanity and combination shower/jetted tub. Downstairs from the main level, the family room has a leather L-sectional with queen sleeper, 42" LCD HDTV, and desk set. Just outside the sliding glass doors, the hot tub is sheltered by the deck above. This home has wireless high-speed Internet access.
Grounds: Vineyard View is situated on a ½ acre of spectacular, landscaped gardens with sculpture and charming seating areas, enjoying sun both morning and afternoon. The rear yard features a large lawn surrounded by gardens, small redwood trees, and many fruit trees including peach, banana, nectarine, kiwi, pineapple guava, plum, apple (pink lady, gravensteins), and cherry, plus raspberry and blackberry bushes. In the garden, there's a dining set for four. The sunny deck has a gas barbecue, dining set for eight, four adirondack chairs, and a stunning view of vineyards. A set of stairs leads to the backyard, which is fenced for dogs but is not secure against escape artists. Under the deck, there's a large hot tub and bistro dining set. There's off-street parking for three cars.

"We continued our tradition of two-family + friends gourmet holiday getaway with a wonderful weekend at your beautiful and perfectly appointed house. The cooks amongst us were delighted by the kitchen and the top-notch pots, knives, and accessories. The separate TV/game room downstairs was perfect for the little kids (4+6) and the big kids too. It made for an enjoyable, music-filled (thanks for the Bose) stay for the parents upstairs. We enjoyed the Jacuzzi very much as well as the perfect, quiet setting of the house + gardens. Croquet was also a big hit."
