After experiencing Tahoe Donner for over 20 years we carefully selected this mountain home in 2007 in what we consider the optimum Tahoe Donner location. Our one story home fullfills our "wish list" with location, comfort and convenience and charming mountain and historic family decor.
We looked for quite some time to find a single level(no stairs to contend with in the snow), family home with two master suites and beautiful views of the forest.
Each of the 2 master bedrooms has a private bathroom and each has a beautiful and very comfy spacious King size bed and tv.
Each of the 2 Queen Bedrooms has a very comfy artisan four poster pine bed and a tv.
Location is key, less than a 5 minute walk to the Lodge, Golf Course, Grocery, Trout Creek Recreation Center and Year round lap Pool,hot tubs, massage center. We choose our home for its quiet and charming neighborhood walking distance to the ammenities.
We are a family of epicureans. Our kitchen is fully equiped with oven, four burner stove, toaster, microwave, refrigerator, 2 sinks. Cupboards fully stocked with cookware and dishes.
Our family room has deluxe large leather sofas and chairs, a game table and large screen cable TV with a DVD & VHS player with surround sound. We have a video library, chess table & game library. Wireless internet and printer.
Hiking/Biking Trails. The Club is less than a 5 minute walk away with full gym, 2 swimming pools, sauna, steam room, 3 hot tubs, pilates/yoga/fitness classes and complete golf course.
The Lodge restaurant is next door to the Club for a relaxing dinner or to mingle at the bar over a few cocktails after a round of golf. Tahoe is known for being California's gateway to outdoor adventure.
Our logistical location makes it easy for part of your group to take a short ride and enjoy the private marina, equestrian center, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, sledding while another part stays in and cozy reading a novel and then taking a walk to the lodge for lunch or to go for a swim or hot tub. Something we find great is the freedom of walking to and from the ammenities, grocery, gym, pools, lodge, reduces dependance of vehicles to get around and grants freedom to each guest to come and go as they please.

- The location of our mountain home is a very short walk to the Golf course, Lodge, massage center, steam room, year round lap pool, large recreation pool, driving range, golf course, restaurant, grocery, and a very short drive to the equestrian center, private marina, ski hill, cross country center. The ski lessons, equestrian lessons, and childrens camps are an exeptional value at Tahoe Donner.
