Our diverse family members include an interior designer, a landscape architect, a real estate office manager and a home improvement contractor. We take great pride and pleasure in providing our guests with a comfortable, clean, well-maintained and amenity-filled vacation home that will provide lots of fond Outer Banks memories.
Why the Owner Chose Duck
We chose our Duck beach home because of its convenient location in the ocean-to-sound Tuckahoe community which offers private access to & private parking at the ocean beach boardwalk, the sound-side community pool, tennis court and pier & dock. The family-oriented Village of Duck with shopping, restaurants & outdoor activities is just a short jaunt from Duck Haven along the running/walking/bike path.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Duck Haven’s cul-de-sac location has a private pool & hot tub, an outdoor stereo system and a large & secluded sandy backyard with recreation & entertainment areas – all complete with outdoor lighting for night-time enjoyment. Duck Haven was designed with multiple outdoor stairways, decks & French doors to allow easy access to all outdoor features & to all three comfortable & well-appointed indoor living levels of the home.

Duck Haven's owners are experts at making their home inviting, comfortable, and easy. The kitchen has pretty much everything an average person slacking off at the beach might need: dishware, utensils, barbeque and cooking utensils, pots and pans, coffee pot, blender, toaster, skillet, trays, and more. There are countless activities to keep you busy including Playstation, board games, movies, and horseshoes. If you need some quiet time, you can retreat to the hammock, swing, or bedroom (each of which has its own TV) for solitude. The beach is a short 5 minute walk, but if you'd prefer you can relax by Duck Haven's private pool and sing along to the station of your choice since there are speakers by the pool. Duck Haven is a definite keeper that my family and I will return to.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We have used Duck Haven for our last two Outer Banks vacations. It is a wonderful house very comfortable and large enough for privacy for the three families who meet for fun every year. You can tell the owner really loves the house, it has everything you can think of and could need. We hope to use Duck Haven again.
