The Manor at Sterling Falls Gorge borders and is surrounded by three conservation areas: the Sterling Falls Gorge Natural Area borders the western property line, the 2150 acre Sterling Forest borders the northern property line and the 5000+ acre Mount Mansfield State Forest and 3000 acre Beaver Meadow Conservation Area abut Sterling Forest. The expansive views across an open meadow to the south are of the Worcester Range and the forever - protected views to the north are of Sterling Mountain.

In the winter guests may ski the 250 mile Catamount Cross-Country (X-C) Trail passing through the property and then return home to snuggle in front of one of three fieldstone fireplaces enjoying the warmth of radiant heating. Respecting Vermont's fresh, clean air, the Manor is rented only to non-smokers. During the summer guests may step out the front door onto miles of forest trails, fish a private trout pond, or open the windows and nap to the sounds of Sterling Brook cascading over a series of seven waterfalls.
