Great Experience on Trout Lake

We have a group of four families, totaling 15 people. This house was able to comfortably accommodate us. The beach area is great! Large patch of sand, very child friendly entry to the lake plus well stocked storage container that has beach toys. Also lots of seating and lounges at the beach. Being able to relax and enjoy the tranquility of Trout Lake while being 5 to 15 minutes from major attractions of Lake George area was a huge bonus. The kitchen was very well stocked and had nice finishes. Central air was nice ammenity. Only negative is that there are upward of 80 stairs to get from main floor of house down to the beach.
Owner response:I want to thank the renters for their positive review but just want to clarify the comment made on the steps down to the beach. There are approx 40 steps with platforms in between to reach the beach.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This place was perfect for our family reunion. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all. Trout Lake was beautiful and swimable, we enjoyed the canoe and paddleboat. House had everything we needed - lots of dishes, silverware, towels etc. Lake George nearby, The Sagamore was perfect for special dinner out.
