This large 3 bedroom/3 bath fifth-floor corner penthouse unit has 10' ceilings and a breathtaking ocean view from every room. There are also 2 private balconies for enjoying the wonderful sea breezes. This is the largest and best unit in The Gables. Enjoy the unmatched view and the coveted southeast exposure which allows sunlight to bathe both balconies and stream in all the windows. Only the north building of the Gables enjoys this exposure.
The Gables is completely new inside and out as of July 2008. The penthouse boasts 10' ceilings, ceiling fans and crown moldings. There is 20" x 20" tile throughout the living areas--living room, dining area, family room, kitchen and baths. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and flat panel LCD TV, and each of the other 2 bedrooms has either a King or 2 XL Twins--whatever suits your needs. All beds are complete with high thread count luxury linens, and all bedrooms have a private bath. The spacious kitchen is equipped with all new appliances and granite countertops, and we also have a large capacity washer and dryer (not a stacked unit)for easy vacation laundry. Decorator furnishings throughout are new and very comfortable--leather, rattan, plush, etc.--all chosen to provide relaxation, comfort and tranquility. There is a flat screen LCD television with dvd player in the family room, wi-fi for your computers throughout the unit, and domestic long distance phone calls are free!
The Gables also offers an on-site fitness center and large, heated oceanfront pool and hot tub.
From The Gables you can walk to just about everything you need! Stroll out in the evening to some of the best restaurants in town. On the weekend there is a wonderful open-air market 1/2 block away where you can get fresh vegetables, famous Indian River fruit and delicious baked goods. Many fabulous shops are just a short block away, as are bike and kayak rentals. Nearby Riverside Park has wonderful walking and fitness trails, tennis courts, a playground and lovely Memorial Island on the Indian River where you'll often see dolphin and manatee as you stroll the paths. You can even walk to the Art Museum and the Performing Arts Center! The newly opened Costa d'Este hotel is 1 1/2 blocks down Ocean Drive, and it's only 2 blocks to the famous Ocean Grill!
