Had an excellent 10 days skiing holiday staying at this condo. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay , and its location on the Four O Clock run makes it a perfect ski-in ski-out . Very spacious for four adults. A real home-from-home. If / when we return to Breck' we will definitely stay here again. Owner is very helpful and a great communicator.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Richard, thank you so much for taking the time to write your review. I am delighted you had such a good trip and would be happy to have you return in the future. Carol

We stayed for 5 nights and thought this unit was perfect. I've done ski in/ ski out before but have never been able to literally ski right up to the back porch before. Ski out was nice other than a short hike across the road. The unit was equipped with everything we needed and slept all of us comfortably. Bathrooms are small but nicely renovated. It was great having the washer/dryer to toss our damp ski gloves and socks in each night. We had great snow the first 3 days and by the last night it had warmed up to where we were able to use the grill. The hot tub was conveniently right up the stairs and the kids had fun in the pool. Carol was very helpful and gave good advice for where to rent skis. Other than some issues with the altitude, we had a great time. I'd definitely recommend this unit.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We just finished a 5 day stay here. The condo was absolutely perfect for our family - exactly what we wanted and at a reasonable price, as well. We are a family of four - parents and two college age daughters. The condo was spacious and nicely updated. The kitchen was fully equipped. There was a beautiful deck on the mountain side of the condo. It was a 10-15 minute walk down to Main Street. The convenience of being slopeside was fantastic. As one of the other reviewers said, we walked out the patio door, down three steps and popped on our skis for a quick ski down to the snowflake lift at the start of the day. At the end of the day when we were all "done", we skied right to our back door - No waiting on a shuttle, no extra walking, no packing up equipment. Ski-in was also perfect for the one skier in our group who liked shorter days - no waiting on the rest of the group, and no limiting the days of the others. We used the kitchen for most meals including lunches which saved alot of money and time. The other bennies of the condo, the washer and dryer, the parking garage and the free wi-fi were all also hugely appreciated. And, Carol, the owner was very kind and responsive to my queries. We would highly recommend this condo and will keep it in mind if we return to Breck in the future.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Tamara, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I am delighted you had such a wonderful time and so glad you had so much fresh snow! I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

My family just returned from a wonderful stay at this condo in Tyra Summit. Honestly, I don't think that you could ask for much more in a ski condo. It was entirely spoiling to be in such a convenient ski in- ski out location, right off the Four O'Clock Run. In the morning, we would leave via the porch area, immediately put on our skis, and ski right down to the Snowflake Lift (less than a minute to ski to, plus a 20-foot walk across a quiet street - easy!). From that lift, it is simple to get to anywhere on the mountain, whether you're a beginner or an expert. At the end of the day (or around lunchtime), we would head down the Four O'Clock Run and arrive right back where we began: steps from the condo. There is no need for shuttles, cars, or lugging equipment at all - heavenly! Once back inside, we would turn up the gas fireplace that heats the main living area of the condo, and peel off all of our layers. There is a generously-sized ski rack in the entryway for the ski equipment, plus a row of pegs for coats and ski pants. There are even plastic trays for boots. We would lay our mittens, liners and neck warmers on the hearth, where they would get dry and warm. Then, we would settle into the comfort of the condo. Although the condo is not brand new, they have done a nice job of updating the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as the furnishings. The living area features deep couches with room for everyone. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there is seating at the counter and at the table. Both bedrooms are cozy. The new washer and dryer are especially nice and so key to the success of a multi-day ski trip. We really felt quite comfortable in our surroundings the entire length of our stay. The condo is also located next to the shared pool and hot tub area. In fact, it is so close that my kids chose to dash from our front door to the hot tub and back in only their bathing suits. The underground parking space is also an excellent feature. It snowed twice during our stay, and every day, it was incredibly cold, so it was extra nice to know that our car was out of the wind and the weather. In short, we highly recommend this condo, and would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Leaving tomorrow and hate that we must. My son-in-law and I spend 5 nights in this great accomdation. It's not the Ritz, but it is as good as home. Loved the humidifiers in the bedrooms. Cooked in 3 out of 5 nights. Big pot of soup in the crock pot, chicken and dumplins one night, and shrimp and pasta one night. And best of all - Four O'clock Run just steps from the deck. Ate one meal on the mountain, $24.00 for burger, fries, and water. Every other lunch was a turkey sandwich and chips in the condo for pennies! We will be back! 2nd Year at Carol's condo. Wonderful owner that is very responsive to every question. The condo is well furnished, clean, warm, and comfortable. Great for 2 couples. 4 o'clock Run is 15 steps away. Nothing like that at the end of the day. Covered garage is huge if you have ever tried packing for home in the snow. No question a quality place to stay.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing.

The description and photos given in VRBO are totally accurate! The condo was very comfy, cozy, and convenient. Unfortunately we did not have enough snow to ski in or out but that was Mother Nature's doing. The owner was very nice, informative and helpful, and communicated promptly. Would rent from her again...Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Betty, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. I appreciate it and would be delighted to have you stay with me again, when there is more snow! Carol Nigut Friedman VRBO #198423

The location of this property is absolutely wonderful! The back door opens right to the 4 o'clock ski run. You can hop on it and ski down to the snowflake lift. We had a plenty of room in the condo for us to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped, and we are able to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner without a problem. This is a well cared for property, and we were very comfortable here. We would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

About the owner: I am an avid outdoor enthusiast who loves skiing, showshoeing, hiking, biking, and anything to do with the mountains! I have had my place in Breckenridge since April of 1999 and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend there. It still amazes me that I can engage in so many of my favorite activities right outside my door! I love sharing my place with people who also appreciate the natural world and follow the dictate to 'do no harm' to the environment and 'leave no trace' that you have enjoyed your time in nature. I feel extraordinarily lucky to have found my piece of heaven on earth and hope my guests enjoy their time in my home away from home as much as I do.
