A beautiful 3 story ocean front house in Key Largo. The top floor is a master suite with ocean views left, right and front. Large glass doors open from the master on to a private balcony looking over the ocean.
On the main floor are two bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths and an open floor plan living room, kitchen dining room. Again water views surround. The dining table is set into a nook with a custom table and seating. The living room was 46 inch plasma TV and two comfortable double recliners. Off of the living room is a large deck with an outdoor dining area.
On the ground floor is a complete independent mother-in-law suite complete with its own bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen. This can be used to cook and entertain on the screened in ground floor deck, it can allow you some separation for friends or extended families vacationing together.
The outside is beautifully landscaped with a winding path from street side to ocean side. The entrance to the pool area and the ocean is framed by a trellis that is covered in flowering vines. The pool has jets, lights, and if needed a heater.
There is a 30 foot dock with 2 fresh water faucets, 2 110 volt outlets, and a 30 amp boat service. Just off the dock are great places to find lobster. In season with your fishing license you can take 6 per person per day. Nothing tastes better than fresh steamed or grilled lobster and nothing will entertain the child in you like catching them.
This house is as close as you can get to Molasses Reef - one of the most popular and magnificent dive locations in the world. You can see the Molasses reef navigation beacon from the house. Special rates with Ocean Divers if you need gear or if you want to join their twice a day dive trips to the reefs around Key Largo.
The Florida Keys are known for their laid back attitude. No worries and no hurries. There are very few chain restaurants, but plenty of great little places tucked away all along Key Largo and Islamorda. Good food, live entertainment and beautiful settings.
For fun things to do - anything that has to do with the water is available. Swim with the Dolphins, visit the Turtle Hospital, scuba diving, snorkeling, deep sea fishing, sailing, kayak the Florida Kayak trail that goes right by your dock.

Wonderful oceanfront home in Key Largo!

This home is excellent and Robert, the 'caretaker', was very accommodating with our last minute reservation when our cruise was cancelled. He not only brought us home made banana bread, he was there in fifteen minutes when our son locked our keys in the house! Sitting on the second level deck every morning with a cup of coffee looking out at the deep blue sea was ever so relaxing. The kids (& adults too) loved the pool with jets. The kitchen was well stocked, home was clean, and the A/C's worked great. The only issue we came across was when the pool pump broke during our stay. It took several days to get it repaired but the pool guy made sure the water stayed clean so we could continue to use it. Please note in case you have young children, the downstairs unit is completely separate with it's own entrance and no interior connection to the upstairs. I think our teenagers actually liked this and it would be great for grandparents, but I can see this being an issue if you have several young children. You must eat at the following restaurants which aren't fancy but where the locals go for great food: Village Gourmet on Islamorada (the BEST spicy fish tacos & grouper dip), Keys Fisheries on Marathon (all kinds of fresh seafood and you may see a manatee swimming around), and Mrs. Mac's Kitchen in Key Largo (great Keylime freeze, steaks, and seafood). We would definitely stay in this home again and already miss the Keys!

I just returned from spending 2 weeks in this Key Largo Beach House. Oh my goodness, it is absolutely wonderful! The description is accurate, however, neither the description or the photos do it justice. The property is beautifully landscaped, very tropical, well maintained and clean. Fishing off the dock at high tide was great. The views you have are outstanding. I really enjoyed the pool. Partly shaded by palm trees during much of the day, so you can float on an air matress and read or just rest and not get too much sun. The jets at one end of the pool were a nice addition, very calming and comfortable. I am a huge football fan, and there is an outside sound system that I took advantage of to listen to football games so I did not have to spend precious vacation time inside in front of the TV. Having a full kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor just off the pool, was very convenient. I enjoyed working directly with the owner Michele. She answered all my questions very promptly and is a real pleasure to work with. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
