ARE YOU LOOKING FOR AN OCEAN VIEW CONDO? THIS IS IT!! NEW POOLS AND NEWLY REMODELED KITCHEN WITH GRANITE COUNTERTOPS AND STONE FLOORING. REMODELED MASTER BATH AND BEDROOM. CHECK OUT OUR PHOTOS. WE ALSO ADDED A NEW WICKER SEATING GROUP ON THE LANAI. YOU COULD ENJOY A COOL DRINK WHILE WATCHING THE SUNSET FROM THIS COMFORTABLE SET.
AFFORDABLE LUXURY - GREAT LOCATION!! Located between the Waikoloa Hilton and the Waikoloa Marriott Hotels.
We welcome you to our beautiful HAWAIIAN RETREAT!
This condo is our lifelong dream and we love to share it with others who love Hawaii as much as we do.
We are on the 2nd floor (end unit) and have a very large WRAP AROUND LANAI which is surrounded by plumeria trees and swaying palms. Sitting on the lanai in the morning with your fresh Kona coffee, or watching the sunset in the evening, you know you are in PARADISE.
Our unit is close to the 75 ft saline heated pool and two jacuzzis. We have an assigned parking stall and the elevator is near. If you like golf, this is the place for you. The Waikoloa Kings and Beach courses are adjacent to the Vistas.
It is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk to a black and white sand beach at A-bay. The Vistas are the closest condos to the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel with it's Dolfin Quest and free boat rides throughout the resort. On the other side of us is the Waikoloa Marriott which has a great Luau on Wed and Sat evenings. All within walking distance!
A 5 minute walk takes you to the Kings Shops or the new Queens Marketplace. Great shopping and restaurants can be found there. A great addition to the Queens Market is a new gourmet grocery store where you'll find a bakery, fresh meets, fish, produce and a wine shop.
This two bedroom 2 bath condo has just been freshly redecorated. The beautiful island themed furniture and artwork is pleasing to the eye. You'll enjoy the beautiful tropical area rugs, two flat screened TVs, Blue Ray DVD, entertainment center (ipod ready0 and comfortable furniture in the living room. Our new sofa bed has a pillow top mattress. We recently installed plantation shutters and natural stone tiling.
First class mattresses and linens are provided. We have down blankets on the beds. We also supply beach towels, boogie boards, a beach umbrella, noodles, beach mats, and light weight, packable beach chairs for our guests. Our lanai has a dining table, bar b q, new seating group and overhead fans.
The extra large master bedroom has a beautiful four poster bed, seating area and TV. This room has great ventilation with 3 opening windows and an overhead fan. In Sept 2012 we completely remodeled the master bath in beautiful natural stone. The huge shower has both a handheld and rain shower head. Check out our photos!
The second bedroom has a new queen size bed, an overhead fan and it's own completely remodeled bath.
Our unit has central air conditioning and overhead fans in the living room, bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and lanais.
The newly remodeled kitchen with granite countertops and new flooring has everything one would need to prepare meals. We have new Fiestaware Dishes, top of the line cookware, many small appliances including an espresso machine, flat top stove, side by side refrigerator with filtered water and ice in the door and dishwasher. We recently installed new Bosch Ovens in the kitchen.
If you are looking for something for a larger group, our family owns two other units at the Vistas - one is right next door.
After a day at the beach, golfing or exploring the island, you will enjoy returning to your HAWAIIAN PARADISE to watch on of the spectacular HAWAIIAN SUNETS.

We had a lovely stay. The condo Its beautifully decorated. The new master bath was like something out of a magazine and the king bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable. They had everything we needed for the beach including towels, chairs and boogie boards- we didn't have to fill our suitcases with bulky beach towels. And there is a large capacity washer and dryer so we didn't have to overpack either. It is awesome! The location of the condo was perfect for us. A Bay is right down the street. The Shops are super close. The unit is kid friendly. We had our 3 year old grandson with us. He loved playing with his toys out on the beautiful (and well enclosed) lanai after long snorkeling morning trips. The only thing we didnt realize is that this unit is on the street. The buses are a bit noisy but regular traffic wasnt really an issue. We had a couple of days where the owners were doing construction in their condo next to us and it sounded like they were coming through the wall but we rolled with it and the rest of the stay was perfect. The owner is very accommodating and sincere. We hope to be able to return for another visit in the future.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was a last minute trip for first timers (2 adults + 1 year old kid) to Kona and we were thrilled with the place. The home is just fantastic. Sylvia clearly put a lot of heart in setting the place up and it showed. The place is HUGE, well appointed, and the views from the Lanai of the (somewhat distant) Pacific Ocean were nice. We stayed an entire week and did not eat a single meal indoors - every meal was eaten on the lanai. (We cooked almost exclusively at the condo and there was not a single kitchen implement which was unavailable - impressive). We also loved how the place was supplied with coolers, boogie boards, and other travel gear. The baby high chair and crib were also life-savers. It was like being at home - except it was Hawaii! Great place and we would definitely stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We have stayed at most of the hotels and many condos in the area north of Kona. This was our first stay in the Waikoloa Beach area. Beautifully furnished in a Tommy Bahamish tropical style with a very nice view of the ocean. Enjoyed many sunsets on the lanais. Very well equiped kitchen.A short lovely 10 minute walk to the beach as well as the shops in Waikoloa. Golf is also very close. The new saltwater pool is a minute away and is a delight. While we were there, we met the owners, Sylvia and Rod, who were also staying there. Wonderful couple who are clearly committed to make sure their guests have a stress free time. Also, in the week we stayed there, we made friends with many of the owners. Very friendly place and the entire condo area is very well maintained. We had a perfect time there, no complaints at all and are looking forward to returning. We were sad to leave. Highly recommended. Our second stay at this condo was for 6 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and can recommend this condo for many reasons: - Sylvia & Rod are a great couple who want their guests to have a wonderful experience with condo rentals. They are continually updating eg. new flooring ,oven, shower and also provide so many extras. - because we were here for an extended time, we made good use of the kitchen and always had all the necessary small appliances and utensils for our meal prep. We enjoyed going to the fresh fish markets ( Bite Me and Da Fish House) and Farmers' Markets in Kona and Waimea. Besides Safeway and Costco in Kona, there are Foodlands located in Mauna Lani and Waimea and the grocery in Waikoloa Village. - besides the condo being very luxurious, the whole resort is well maintained. We love the large heated pool and jacuzzis. All the vacationers, whether owners or not, are very friendly and the BBQ area at suppertime is a place to get tips and suggestions on places to visit or dine at. - the Waikoloa area has great features - the many places to take walks, the shopping, entertainment as well as the close proximity to A. Bay. A few of the wonderful memories of this trip include: - our helicopter ride with Blue Hawaiian to see the volcano and beautiful valleys in the north - sunset dinners on the lanai after a day of exploring the island or having a lazy afternoon at the pool - listening to the band 'Kahulanui' at King's Shops - early morning sunrise walks along A. Bay with my chai latte - a delicious meal and music at the Blue Dragon with a star filled sky above us - taking a drive south and having breakfast at the Coffee Shack with its spectacular view of the bay below( Capt. Cook's monument) - only a short drive to our favorite beaches- Hapuna and Mauna Kea as well as beach 69 for snorkelling. We can hardly wait to return to our favorite island and our home away from home!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Aloha Karen and Pete, Thanks so much for the review of your stay in our condo. It was nice of you to add some of your favorite places on the island which will help future guests. Even so new places for us to check out! You have traveled twice now from Manitoba to stay in our condo and we are honored. We are glad you enjoyed your stay and we would always welcome you back. t has been great to get to know you! Mahalo, Sylvia & Rod

When my family arrived we were pleased to see that all the properties that Sylvia rented us were much more than we expected. The condos were clean, the linens and towels were high grade, fine quality. The kitchen was very well equiped as was the dining area. The outdoor area with barbeque and pool is wonderful. My family will never forget this magical trip. Thank you Sylvia for making our stay so comfortable. I am confident that anyone that stays at your condos will be as peased as we were. We look forward to making this our home away from home, because once you've been there, you will feel that way too.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: HI Jeanne, Thank you for the nice review. I'm so glad you enjoyed your stay. We are constantly doing upgrades to our unit to make it even nicer. It is our piece of paradise and we enjoy sharing it with guests who love the island as much as we do. We'll look forward to hearing from you again. Mahalo,Sylvia

Condo is in a great location in Waikola Beach Resort. Lanai overlooks beautiful gardens and unobstructed views to water in distance and beautiful sunsets. The condo is extremely clean and everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Short walk to beach, shops, restaurants and grocery store. This is a great place to explore the rest of the Big Island. The best is the ease and comfort to deal with the actual owner of the condo. Sylvia makes it so easy and has everything ready and in order. Pleasant surprises in the kitchen. Great beach equipment(towels, chairs, umbrella and boards) that we used and made our trips to Hapuna Beach State Park so enjoyable. This beautiful white sand beach is only 10 to 15 min. drive and well worth it. Look no further, this is the Condo for you. Hope we get back to the Big Island soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

You are always welcome to return to our condo when you travel to the Big Island again. We love to share our piece of paradise with people like you. I'll look forward to hearing from you again. We were thrilled with the two condos we rented from Sylvia (both this one and the one next door). As a group of ten, we needed space to cook and relax, and these two condos fit the bill. Everything we needed was there--boogie boards, noodles, beach mats, beach towels, beach bags, coolers, even an underwater camera! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil you could need (including a rice cooker), and there were quite a few odds-and-ends in the fridge and cabinet. I definitely recommend you stop by the condo before going to the grocery store--the olive oil or ketchup you were planning to buy might already be there. There were also plenty of personal care products (shampoo, lotion, etc.) underneath the sink. The lanai had very comfortable furniture (as did the rest of the condo) and was a great spot to curl up with a drink as the sun set. Right across from the condo were four large gas grills and a seating area, which was perfect for cooking dinner for the large group. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to take a dip in the pool (why go in the pool when the ocean is a few minutes away?), but it looked great. The grounds in general were very well taken care of. The location was perfect. I will say A-Bay, the closest beach, is not my favorite one on the island, but it certainly fits the bill for beautiful sunsets and convenience. And if you're looking for a beach with bigger waves or better snorkeling, they're only a 5-15 minute drive (speaking of, I highly recommend Beach 69 for snorkeling). There's even a coral beach about a three-minute walk from the condo, which is a great place to watch the sunset, too. A 7-10 minute walk takes you to the King's and Queen's Marketplaces. These have great (but spendy) restaurants and shops, including a grocery store called Island Gourmet, which we stopped at quite a few times. Correspondence with Sylvia was the only part that wasn't perfect. She was traveling and didn't send the information on how to get into the condos as quickly as I would have liked. If I wouldn't have been traveling with nine other people (including three kids), I don't think it would have bothered me at all, but I wanted to have every last detail in place a week before we left. Overall, I would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat. In fact, everyone in the family was talking about when our next vacation to Hawai'i would be!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Dani, Thank you sending the nice review of our condos. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Please accept my apology for sending the check-in information 5 days rather the 7 days before check-in. Unfortunately, I was either flying to or tied up in a 3 day out of state conference where I didn't have access to my computer. I realized too late, that I should have sent it to you before I left the house. I am sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. You were great renters and of our course, we'd always appreciate you returning to any of our three beautiful condos at Vista Waikoloa. Thanks again for choosing our condos for your Hawaiian Vacation. I'll look forward to hearing from you again. Aloha, Sylvia
