  We just returned from spending two weeks in #1304 and it broke our hearts to have to leave. This was our first visit to the island of Maui and David's condo is in a great location. You can easily walk north to restaurants and shopping or go south for more of the same. The beach across the road is absolutely fantastic and David has generously supplied beach chairs, umbrellas and towels for you to enjoy your day in the sun. The condo is exactly as shown, very classy and comfortable! David is an incredibly gracious host who will bend over backwards to accomodate anything you need. From the first time we spoke on the phone to meeting at the San Francisco airport waiting area we knew that we had made the right choice in choosing Maui Vista #1304! Mahalo nui loa David!!!   This property is a great find. Wonderful location, beautifully maintained and cared for, feels like a luxary boutique hotel! David conatcted me within hours of placing an inquiry into his property. He answered all my questions and was very prompt in any e-mail correspondence. When we arrived we found a lovely fruit basket and thank-you card, so very thoughtful. I was traveling with other people who also stayed at this complex and they were very jealous. The Lanai looks over the street and has great sunsets. The condo is fully equiped with anything you may wish for including snorkelling gear and plenty of beach accessories. The kitchen is gorgeous and the bed very very comfortable. He has done a lovely job with presentation. I hope to keep staying here for further adventures to Maui, walking distance to many things, shopping and eating included. Thank you David for a wonderul experience.

  We loved our month in Maui, great condo!! Perfect location, view of sunsets from the lanai, fully equipped in every way and a comfortable floor plan. David was an exceptional host, very attentive. We cooked about half of the time and had every utensil needed, plenty of cookware and tupperware for leftovers. There were chairs, coolers, umbrellas and boogie boards available to us and when we arrived war had a welcome basket of fresh fruit and beverages. Thanks David for an amazing vacation, we will be back next year.

  The condo was very comfortable and spacious. The recent remodel was very well done and we really enjoyed watching the sunset on the lanai. David was very nice and very accommodating.

  This is a clean, beautifully remodeled unit in an older complex. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need, the bathroom is beautifully designed, the bed is firm but comfortable, and the lanai is a great place to sit. The ocean view is partially obstructed, as the building is across the street, but it is a pleasant view nonetheless. My only suggestions would be to add some ant traps. In the warmer climate ants are inevitable, of course, and it wasn't a big deal. But the unit we stayed in on Kauaui used ant traps with good results. We loved the welcome basket that David set out for us. He is a thoughtful and responsive renter and made himself available if there was anything we needed. Overall, we had a great experience!

  David's Maui Vista condo was a wonderful place to stay. David replied promptly to our emails whenever we sent them. You can tell that there is much pride of ownership with this condo - he wants you to think of this as your home away from home. The unit is extremely clean and well kept. The renovations he has done are wonderful - makes this unit one of the best in the complex. The location is perfect looking out over the pool while sitting on the lanai - great place to have your morning coffee! The complex is located in the middle of Kihei - easy to walk to many places in South and Central Kihei and also right across the street from Charley Young Beach. The unit is well equipped with anything you would ever need. David makes you feel welcome and checks in with his guests to ensure everything is going well. We loved staying here and highly recommend it to others.

  As the previous owner of this condo, I was absolutely blown away by the re-model David did. It is even more beautiful than in the photos. It was a pleasure waking up to not only the beautiful ocean view, but the luxury setting of the condo. I enjoyed my visit and will definitely return and stay here. I did not even rent a car this trip, as I could walk to everything. This condo is a great choice for returning as well as first time visitors, as David is an excellent host and will provide great insight and information on beautiful Maui. Thank You Again David!   This was my fourth Maui getaway experience, and the only unit to which I have returned a second time, and have already indicated that I wish to return again in 2012. I found this condo by trolling the internet in 2010 when I was unexpectedly travelling to Maui as a single. What you see on David's page is what you get. I enjoyed my stay before the reno, but I was very impressed by the new look. As others have indicated, this is an excellent location. This year I found myself without a car for part of my stay, and discovered THE BUS. The bus stop is just a block down the street, and for a Two-dollar all day ticket you can travel, at a leisurely pace, over much of the island. More than a property manager, David is a host, and and this unit is truly "one of the Best".

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car.

  This wonderfully located and newly renovated apartment in Kihei's Maui Vista Complex is a real treat! We have stayed here 3 times now, two befire the renovation and now once after the redecorating. The building and the apartment are comfortable and lack absolutely nothing. We as a couple fly all the way from France to vacation on Maui, enjoy the activities and beautiful beaches. Being in Kihei is a big plus for us and we prefer it to the Lahaina side. The Maui Vista complex allows us to easily start vacationing without trouble. Supermarket, gasoline, restaurants are all within walking distance. We have stayed elsewhere on Maui but we choose Maui Vista as our maison away from Paris. Great work and congratulations are due to the owner for the confort and hospitality he shows his guests. We have already booked 2012! Marty and Yves Paris, France

  We were the first ones to spend time in David's remodeled condo. We had visited previously and considered it one of the best beach condos we ever had stayed in. But the remodeling has put the place in a class by itself. There's loads of storage, the bathroom is pure luxury and the built-in microwave and new cabinetry is a treat. From the welcoming fruit basket to a closet full of beach gear, David has thought of everything for a hassle-free beach vacation. The location across from Charley Young Beach couldn't be more convenient. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the Maui Vista, but with two big gas grills in the garden area, we ate in often. If you're looking for a relaxing stay on Maui in comfortable and convenient surroundings, David's condo is a no-brainer. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

  We have stayed in this unit every year for over 10 years and consider it our second home. The owner is very close by and can be easily contacted. It has a beautiful lanai from which to enjoy sunsets nightly and a wonderful outside eating area. The unit is very well maintained, is always very clean, and is very well equipped. It is s very short walk to a major grocery store and other shops, and has some of the most beautiful beaches right across the street.
