This property is absolutely gorgeous! We shared the house with 2 families and had more than enough room! The home was very well appointed and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. I learned the hard way not to rely on my GPS to get us to the house... Follow Merrily's directions for sure! We used chains on our Mini Van and we were fine getting in and out every day for skiing and snowboarding. Short drive to the slopes - with plenty of parking. I would HIGHLY recommend this property. We had the pleasure of interacting with both Merrily & Scott and they were wonderful in answering any questions and providing information! Can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay here in luxury. This was such a beautiful cabin. We enjoyed our first experience skiing w/our whole family. Four of us for the first time including mom. We then enjoyed coming back and relaxing and playing games. Thanks for a wonderful vacation and wonderful memories. (The scenary was just beautiful)

What an amazing cabin! We had 10 people with us and we had plenty of room! If you are planning on going in the winter 4 wheel drive is a must :) We would definitely stay there again!!!

The cabin was lovely, well maintained, and clean. My family and friends loved it. I would give it 5 stars if it had Wi-Fi. FYI, our group consists of Verizon and AT&T wireless users, and I think we all were able to get voice, but unreliable intermittent 3G service. Other than that, there's nothing else to complain about. The road to the cabin can be challenging in the winter. It's about a mile or two of dirt road off the main highway. Plan your arrival during daylight because it's hard to find after dark. Also, print out the direction instead of relying on your smartphone like I did (see intermittent service above). Without a 4x4, you'll most likely need chain -- even when it hadn't snow in a while. Merrily was a classy host. I would definitely come back.
Owner response:Thanks so much for your accurate review. We do list on our web site that we recommend 4 wheel drive and when we send the cabin map we suggest printing it. This helps our clients recognize we are in upfront in our recommendations. Hope you will return to stay with us again. - Merrily

It’s July and there is no snow so can’t say we enjoyed skiing but we went fishing in Paguitch Lake. It was a first time for many of us. We caught 5 Rainbow Trout and had a blast. My husband & I are in Houstan, TX to the beautiful scenery and no humid weather was an awesome change. Also, this is the 1st time for all my sisters and brother to get together as a family with husbands and children. It was perfect and we couldn’t have had more fun playing games, hiking outside, and enjoying the camp fire. What an awesome bonding experience. Thanks for the great cozy cabin & outside adventures. Best memories ever for our children.

Thanks for letting us come to the cabin. We look forward to returning as soon as possible. Our kids loved to play hide and seek in the back yard and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. We had a great Father’s Day here at the Bird Cabin! I love the homey atmosphere and the cute décor. It’s the nicest cabin I’ve ever been too!

We could not have come to a better place for our honeymoon! We enjoyed the snow, the sun, and the warmth of the cabin. We didn’t want to ever leave! Everything we needed was right here! It was a romantic getaway for the two of us. We liked the secluded feel of the cabin. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

We had 4 families stay for five days and had a great time! We would highly recommend this cabin! It is very large and the photos accurately show how nice the cabin is furnished! Having the great room as well as the downstairs theater room and bunk bed bedroom was great for the young adults in our family. Being able to store all our snow gear in the garage and use is like a mud room was also nice! We had cold temps with one day being -4 and the cabin always stayed warm with the thermostat being set at 70. The owners were great to work with and were very organized with their paperwork and cabin information. Their contracted snowplow man, Mike was wonderful. We stayed during what they called an "epic storm period" and he kept the driveway clear for all four of our vehicles. Being at the end of the road was very nice and peaceful. The trees were beautiful and it really did feel like a winter wonderland. Even with all the snow it only took us 5 minutes to get down to the main highway with the roads being plowed. The owners advise that AT&T does not work is very accurate. Since there is no phone in the cabin, make sure you have a Verizon phone with you for any emergencies. This cabin is very well stocked for all your comforts and you will not be disappointed in your stayl

We love BrianHead and this area of Utah and this cabin was fantastic. I use the term cabin, but truly a beautiful home with all the comforts of home. Three families with children - and the cabin had everything we needed for a great weekend. Plenty of room for the three adult couples and the bunk room downstairs was perfect for the children. Some of the standout features were the rustic mountain setting; the deck and the amazing views of the stars; playground, firepit, plenty of board games and tv w/ dvd player to keep the kids entertained and wind them down at night. A definite winner for a multi-family getaway.

What an awesome cabin! It was perfect for our 3 families...plenty of room for everyone. Super close to the lifts. We have stayed in several cabins over the years and this one is at the top of our list. Thanks for all the generosity. We had a blast and look forward to visiting again.

Our family gathered from Tennessee, Las Vegas, NV, Sparks,NV, and Florida and we all spent a magical Christmas in the cabin. The cabin is beautiful and had everything that we needed and wanted Our daughter even brought a small Christmas tree and the stockings to hang on the fireplace mantle. Our grandsons were thrilled that Santa found us there! There was lots of snow for Winter sports. We loved building a bonfire in the fire pit in the snow. Again magical!!

We had one of our most memorable Christmas's ever in your cabin! We enjoyed snowshoeing, sledding and building snowmen in the cabin's beautiful, secluded setting. In addition, the interior, including the modern fixtures and nice furniture, was everything we'd hoped it would be!

What a great way to spend a family vacation. We'd never been to Brianhead before and not so far off the main freeway, its a getaway spot secluded enough to make you feel isolated. The trees surrounding the cabin are huge and beautiful, and even with a short rain shower we were thrilled to be there. None of this even begins to describe the comfort of the cabin itself, the many ammenities, the master suite, and the kids favorite part was the bunk-bed room where they could all bunk together. A GREAT vacation spot, we'd go back in a minute!

My family and I have really enjoyed this cabin. While building it gave us some time together in a different setting than at home. It was built with the intent to be used. While we are not there, we invite all to come and enjoy. Everything is new but designed to provide a rustic and cabin feel. It is 100% log...no sheet rock and stucco. The furniture is also log, truly a cabin worth using to increase your vacation experience. We also built it in the woods, away from the city to put you in nature. Most rental cabins in Brian Head are on the main road with less privacy. Thanks for visiting...we hope you enjoy.
