THE ORIGINAL HISTORIC KEMAH COTTAGE! What a great weekend getaway! This Kemah 1940’s bungalow has all the amenities you need. It welcomes you with a huge front porch that overlooks the main street KIPP Avenue or also known as the Boardwalk Street. This home is loaded with all your needs… just pack a suitcase! Get ready to have a great vacation filled with entertainment both; day at Kemah Boardwalk, and evening with the local night life.
Kemah Cottage is nicely decorated with nautical décor, soothing colors and wood floors throughout. The master bed is down which includes a king size bed. Fully equipped kitchen, pots & pans, refrigerator, dishes & gas stove. If you need quick groceries - Target & Wal-Mart are 2 mins away from home. All linens are available, as well as, a full washer & dryer for your leisure! Living room is also loaded with a large TV (VCR & DVD player), movie library, stereo system & a FULL size sofa bed. Upstairs you will enjoy this 10ft X 10ft wall to wall windows, queen size bed and a view of the water. Cozy is a understatement both inside and out. This large 1/4 acre backyard has amazing pecan trees that hold a hammock for two adults to enjoy for a nice relaxing moment. Also included in the yard, is a full size patio table & teak benches for additional seating while you entertain.
Kemah is full of year round attraction events. ENJOY!

Hello, we are the Orlando's. My name is John and I am a native Houstonian. I went to Sharpstown High School here in Houston, Texas and graduated from the University of Houston 1992.
My wife's name is Sandra and she was born in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated from Kingwood High School in 1994 and has recently gone back to college to continue her education. We have three wonderful children Brittany, Ethan and Lauren.
Why the Owner Chose Kemah
My wife and I bought the Kemah Cottage in 2006 as a great place to escape the hectic city life and a fun place for our kids to play. We fell in love with this old 1941 home that needed love and attention. After years of restoration we finally found our little piece of heaven on earth.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The cottage is beautiful. Sometimes while working in the yard, people stop and tell me they love this home. "It's so warm and homie". It makes me smile from ear to ear!
Parking isn't a problem when you can walk to everything!!! Some properties say "Kemah"....but can you walk to the boardwalk, restaurants and shopping? If you been to Kemah before, you know that parking is a hassle. Stay at the Original Kemah Cottage and you are two blocks from all the activity!!!!
Oh yea...2 minutes away from some of the best seafood right off the boat. Visit Roses Seafood and pick up some fresh seafood,take it to the cottage and cook it up. You won't be disappointed!!
