This stunning mountain style contemporary home, completed in 2008, is at the end of a short private country lane, adjacent to national forest, but only one mile from downtown Aspen.
As your car approaches the house, the high end construction will become evident: detailed stone masonry, magnificent windows, and the large copper garage door facing the snow melted parking area for the convenience of guests.
The great room, dining room and kitchen have 20 foot high beamed wood tongue-and-groove ceilings with stunning views of Independence Pass, Aspen mountain, the nature preserve and adjacent forest. The kitchen has all the amenities for large groups and gourmet cooking, including a gas fired wok. With a media room, wet bar and wine room, the home is ideal for entertaining. And your guests can move outside in colder weather onto the snow-melted deck which features an outdoor gas fireplace and under the eaves heaters and music.
For dining, your 12 guests can be seated in the formal dining area. But you may wish to begin the day in the breakfast nook, off the kitchen, with a large bay window overlooking a grove of Aspen trees. In the winter, elk can be seen on the hillside.
Both the master and guest master bedrooms have the same magnificent views as the great room, and feature all the amenities of luxury -- king bed, large flat screen TV, remote controlled gas fireplace, remote controlled window shades, bathroom with elegant tile and granite, steam shower with rain head, heated towel racks and Jacuzzi. The large outdoor, four season, hot tub is only a few steps away.
With a hand-held remote control in each room, the "Control 4" audio visual system will allow immediate access to satellite TV, DVD's, CD's, satellite radio and music from your iPod playlists. Just put your iPod in one of the docking stations when you arrive.
Want to leave this luxury to ski or dine in downtown Aspen? For $1 per person, the Mountain Valley mini-van service will pick you up within minutes and take you into town or the base of Aspen Mountain ski area. Just phone "Dial-a-Ride." Within a short drive (or free local bus service) are 3 other ski areas: Aspen Highlands, Snowmass and Buttermilk.

- Air Conditioning: There is central air conditioning and humidification. Rooms have individual thermostats.
- Washer: The laundry room has a washer and 2 dryers. On the master/guest master level is a separate stacked washer/dryer unit.

- Linens Provided: 1000 thread count linens are supplied with multiple towel sets for each bedroom. Extra large towels are available for the Jacuzzi or outdoor hot tub.
