Many undeveloped areas on lake provide excellent bird or wild life watching from boat or shoreline. McB's Retreat is 2 acres under canopy of magnolias, dogwoods, pines and huge azaleas. 225 feet of gently sloping water frontage provides beach area wonderful for kids to explore or play. Located just off main lake on large inlet that gives you distance/privacy from surrounding neighbors. Deep water covered boat dock (lights & power outlets) is U-shaped allowing secure boat moorage and shady area to fish. Five minutes by boat or car from Thomas Mill Creek boat ramp. Fifteen minutes from the historic City of Eufaula that has lovely historic district, antique shops and wide variety of restaurants.
House is 3BR, 3BA that sleeps 8 with king size bed in master bedroom w/ private bath, queen size bed in 2nd BR, full size bed and twin trundle beds in 3rd BR. Fully equipped kitchen, microwave, stove, refrigerator with ice maker/water dispenser, SAT TV/DVD, fireplace. Back porch with wicker seating to enjoy forest and water view. Also, detached building with covered picnic area. Rental is $145.00/night, weekly rental gives 7th night free. Typically three night minimum, but 2 nights may be allowed during certain times. One-time cleaning fee of $75.00. Sales tax of 4%. Deposit of $200 to reserve this rental. Pets are allowed with prior approval and an additional $65.00 cleaning fee. Cancellation prior to 2 weeks of check-in required for refund. Memorial Day, Labor Day & 4th of July require one week minimum rental.
