Our home is situated on 2 1/2 acres in the high hills of Huntsville, with stunning views of the Wasatch Mountains, Pineview lake and the surrounding valley. This is a perfect getaway for those looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Our house has recently been decorated in a mountain style theme. We have added modern appliances, wall to wall carpeting, new furniture and all the amenities of a typical home. We outfitted the house with three HD TV's one of which is a 50" Samsung, so for those of you who have to catch your favorite TV show, fret not. The House is laid out on a three story platform. The first level is connected to the garage and contains a pellet stove, a card table and has been newly carpeted and painted. This level is a perfect place for some late night texas hold em, or can serve as additional sleeping space. The second level contains the kitchen, a woodburning fireplace, laundry room, two bedrooms containing queen sized beds and a bathroom. Additionally this level contains two separate family rooms, both outfitted with HD TV's, and the large deck which is perfect for BBQing, and stargazing. The third level exclusively contains the master bedroom. This is a good place to escape the noise of the rest of the house and contains its own bathroom and private deck with stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
This house is a perfect place to come for some peace and quiet and a great place to enjoy the outdoors. Some of the local attractions include snowbasin (a world class ski resort and a site for the 2002 Olympics), Powder Mountain(The first Mountain in the world to allow snowboarders and has the largest ski-able terrain of any mountain in North America) and Wolf Mountain(a very affordable, family oriented mountain which is great for beginners). Additionally, there are a multitude of outdoor sports to partake in including; Fly Fishing, Water Skiing, Hiking, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Horseback Riding, Mountain biking, Hunting, Archery, Sledding, snowboarding ......the list goes on. For those of you who do not have access to snowmobiles, boats etc...there is a local company CLUB REC which will provide you with any motorized machine you can think of for a very reasonable fee, and all their equipment is new and top of the line!!! For those of you with motorized equipment the driveway is very large and could accomodate anything you plan on bringing.
The house itself is located 1 mile away from downtown Huntsville a charming little town with the Oldest Bar in all of Utah...The Shooting Star, make sure to get the Star Burger when you go, definitely an experience!!!! The house is also located 4miles from Eden a nearby town with a grocery store, bank, coffee shop....etc For those of you who do not plan on cooking there are various restaurants which are great eating!!!! If you want a change of scenery nearby Ogden provides all the amenities of a big city. The old downtown is a great place to hang out and grab a drink and dinner, and for the kids a new sports complex contains a variety of activities including Rock climbing, Indoor Surfing, and a skydiving simulator....furthermore during the early summer the Egyptian theatre in the downtown area serves as a screening theatre for the Sundance Film Festival.
