Excellent Condo

My husband, I and our two teenage sons spent the Christmas week (Dec. 19-26, 2009) in this condo. All four of us left Gatlinburg very satisfied (and those who travel with teenagers know what I mean…). Pros: 1) Extremely nice and promptly responding hostess. Thank you, Lisa! 2) Reasonable price. 3) Perfect location – on top of a hill next to the main street, providing all the privacy needed for a vacation while being within walking distance from the main attractions. For example, the Ripley’s are only within five to ten minutes walk and save you the trouble to find a parking spot which could be a challenge during holidays. 4) Two large, separate, enclosed balconies with a fabulous view. From the balcony, one can hear the soothing murmur of a nearby creek. 5) A separate TV set in each room with cable access and about 20 channels to choose from. 6) Wireless Internet access. 7) Some owners would advertise their condo as sleeping four people comfortably but when you arrive it turns out your teenage kids have to sleep in one bed… Not in this condo! It has two separate beds in the second bedroom. Cons: No cons! Absolutely great condo! Highly recommend! While in Gatlinburg, we recommend to visit: Cirque de Chine, Dixie Stampede, Ripley's Aquarium, Oak Ridge National Laboratory (one our drive, but if you travel with teenagers “go carts” type of experience might not be appealing any more).

The condo was beautiful and well laid out, the pictures were right on. We came Thanksgiving Day and stayed a week, everything went great with no problems at all.you can walk to everthing in downtown easily. The elevator to street level was good because the walk down the hill is not bad but the walk back up is steep. It could use a few more channels on tv for when the wheather doesn't cooperate but no big deal.

My husband and I, along with his Aunt and Uncle from WV, stayed at this condo in late September 2011. We have been visiting Gatlinburg for over 20 years, and have stayed on the strip, off the strip, in the mountains in a chalet, and I must say this is the best place we've stayed. It's so conveniently located to everything, and you just park your car and walk to everything. The Condo was beautiful and the view was amazing from the two balconies. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend, and hope to stay there again in the near future. Thanks Lisa for sharing your vacation home with us!

We spent a week in Lisa's condo in September and it is exactly as advertised,,,,,the location is excellent and so nice not having to drive anywhere as you can walk the entire downtown of Gatlinburg. The unit was very clean, very comfortable and very nicely decorated. Lisa was great to deal with and we received our security deposit back before even expecting it. Thanks Lisa for a wonderful week...if we ever return to Gatlinburg, your place would be our first choice to stay!! Debbie Missoula MT

Excellent Location and Value

My brother and his 2 sons used the condo Aug 24 - 26th for our annual family get together in Gatlinburg. This condo is conveniently located within a 5 walk to downtown Gatlinburg - but not too close to get experience the noise. We spent 3 days hiking and biking in the park - the only bear we saw was the one routing through the garbage down the hill from the condo. This condo is a great value (4 beds, 2 baths) and Lisa is very responsive to any inquiries. I will definitely put this at the top of my list for next year's stay in Gatlinburg. Note - Many folks (in Lisa's guest log) have suggested Lisa needs to add more cable channels. My recommendation - forget the extra cable and enjoy the park (or Gatlinburg).

Perfect Location!

We absolutely loved this condo. It was well equipped and had plenty of room for our family of five. Usually when we come to Gatlinburg we get a cabin but I am so glad we found this condo especially for the busy fourth of July weekend. Everything is within walking distance so we were able to avoid spending time in traffic and able to spend more time enjoying the shops and attractions. The view of the fireworks from the balcony was perfect. The kids loved the pool! I can't say enough good things about our stay here. Thanks Lisa!

Perfect...perfect...perfect...perfect...

I know, there are a lot of "perfects" in the review title, but they are much deserved. Perfect #1...The condo was exactly as it was described in the listing. It was very easy to find with the directions provided by Lisa. Perfect #2...It was clean and tidy and had adequate towels, blankets, pillows, dish/dishwasher/laundry soap and the necessary paper products. Perfect #3..The balconies were delightful..one off the living room and one off of the master bedroom. Even with the location right off the Gatlinburg strip..very quiet and peaceful. (Garbage pick-up can be a little noisy in the morning...however, this is not unusual in town.) Perfect #4...Location...Very close to the Great Smoky Mountain Park entrance; easy to access especially when using the bypass from Pigeon Forge (right turn into drive); driveway is steep but elevators make it very convenient to get to and from street level; location puts you right in the middle of the "strip" action with many shops, attractions and restaurants right outside the door! We have been visiting the area for the past 10+ years and this has to be one of the best places we have stayed!! We had an absolutely wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better location. Enjoyed relaxing on the balconies (did I say there were two!) and watching the trams gliding to and from Obergatlinburg. Cherokee Grill and Smoky Mtn Brewery can be seen from the balcony and are a short walk across the driveway...and walk half block the other way to find Best Italian. Lisa was very helpful, the details of the rental were communicated clearly and thoroughly and she was awesome to work with! We are looking forward to next spring and our stay at Treetop View. We rented this condo for 6 nights and LOVED it. The location is great. Never had to pay to park. Everything on the Gatlinburg strip is in walking distance. The condo had everything we needed. The owners are very friendly and easy to work with. We had no problems at all. We had 2 teenagers with us and they were able to walk around on there own. Its was really nice not to have to drive them around all the time. All the resturants are right there. We will stay here again.

This was our second visit to Gatlinburg. On our first visit we stayed in a cabin which was nice but the condo was so much more convenient. Everything we needed was right there in the condo from pots and pans to washer and dryer including laundry detergent! Having little kids the washer and dryer was great! We walked on the strip and only got in the car once to go into Pigeon Forge. The pool and hot tub was not open and that was the only grip from our children:( But our experience was awesome and we plan to return next year in April once pool has opened. Thanks, Lisa!

Have stayed in this complex before, but not this unit. Condo was roomy, quiet, peaceful & comfortable. Decent wi-fi. Plenty of pots/pans/dishes/utensils. Close to Best Italian Restaurant (you should really try their calzones & garlic rolls) - one of our favorites in Gatlinburg. Very convenient to walk to anything in the southern half of downtown. Nice view from balconies. Great jacuzzi tub in master bedroom. King bed was very comfortable (didn't sleep on the other beds). Really good value going through VRBO as opposed to complex website. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay downtown.
