I can't stop raving about this condo and my only fear is that it will become such popular rental that it won't be available next time I'm in town ! First, the owner who we communicate with directly is very helpful, gracious and easy going. Everything is kept simple to streamline the process, the arrival and departure. Then, it's in a great location, near the metro, bus line, walk from Saint-Denis street and close to St-Laurent, and of course the lovely Laurier Avenue with grocery stores, boutiques, cafe, restaurants, and the large park facing the condo. The condo itself is designed and decorated to be contemporary, efficient and beautiful. Most of all, it is very bright ! The morning sun fills the rooms ! All amenities are included, including local phone line and a parking spot (wow, in Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood -- impressive!) The only average or fair comment is for those who may want to or have to work from the condo : unless you don't mind poor ergonomics or sitting on the couch with your laptop, plan to work elsewhere. It's ok for less than an hour. Overall, I warmly recommend it !

We rented this fantastic unit for a week over Christmas. The unit is very bright with a view of a park and the mountain. Easy walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, subway etc. The underground parking, wi-fi, elevator and ensuite washer/dryer made this condo the perfect choice. We hope to come back again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Montreal.

We stayed at this apartment for a couple of nights in Dec. The apartment was great: sunny, clean, cozy and in a great location. We especially appreciated the indoor parking and the proximity to the Metro supermarket (just one block from the park). Overall, it we had great time there and I highly recommend this apartment.

I stayed here for a week this fall with my husband and our dog. We couldn't have been happier. The apartment is in a very nice, quiet building facing right out onto the park. The space is bright, clean, and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare simple, everyday meals. The bed was comfy and we slept well. For longer stays, you'll appreciate the unit's washer/dryer, dishwasher, and generously-sized bathtub. You'll also love the neighborhood. Shops, restaurants, bakeries and more are all within walking distance, and the supermarket is just around the corner. We had a car, which made getting around Montreal very easy, but the apartment is about a 7-10 minute walk from the metro too. I was attending a conference downtown, and it was a 10-20 minute drive each way depending on traffic. If you're driving, you'll also appreciate the easy, indoor parking. Here's a parting tip: Straight down Rue de Brébeuf toward Parc la Fontaine is a little bakery called Boulangerie Mr. Pinchot. Try the chocolate-almond croissant. You won't be sorry.

We had an absolutely wonderful time in Montreal in general, and this condo in particular. The location was perfect - across the street from a park and a bike rental station, and only a few blocks to a grocery store, bakery, restaurants, metro station, etc. The condo itself was plenty spacious for 2 people and was very bright and sunny (although it did get pretty hot in there due to all the sun it received). The dedicated parking space was very nice, although because everything was so convenient to get to by walking, riding a bike or riding the metro, we didn't use our car once while we were there. Laurie and Eric were great to work with as well. Eric met us at the condo and gave us several recommendations for restaurants, etc. All in all, a very pleasant experience working with the owners. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. If we ever make it back to Montreal (and we loved it so much we are already talking about when we can go back :), we would not hesitate to stay here again if it was available. Thank you so much for helping to make our vacation wonderful!

My husband and I stayed here for a week long trip to Montreal in October 2011. The apartment is so warm and comfortable, and has all the amenities you'll need for a short or long-term stay, including a kitchen with plenty of cookware and a great walk-in closet for luggage, coats, shoes, etc. It's situated right on the edge of a nice park--perfect for a morning run or a nice walk. It's also nearby shops and eateries, and close to the Metro. Bixi bikes are conveniently located right across the street from the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again!

We had a great time during our week in Montreal due in no small part to this condo. You can't beat the location - "Plateau de Montreal", direct view of Laurier Park, short walk to Ave Laurier, bike path just across the street. Having a parking space under the building is another big plus. No worries about finding a safe place to park or a convenient place to leave bicycles. Definite recommendation without reservation.

I just spent 5 weeks in this condo, and I hated to leave. Located in a great part of Montreal, this condo has everything you could possible ask for. A great location, grocery is just around the corner. A short walk to the Metro, I never needed a car. You can rent a bike 100 feet from the front door. And the park across the street was very inviting. The condo itself is bright, clean and quite comfortable. Well appointed kitchen, washer and dryer, wireless internet, local phone...everything you could ask for. The owners were extremely helpful, quick to answer any and all questions. And compared to other places I scouted, the price was definetely right. I give the place 5 stars, would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone coming to Montreal.

We were really happy with our stay here. The location was fabulous. It is adjacent to Park Laurier, which has a very nice 100m swimming pool (free) and a block away from a lovely shopping street with restaurants, bakeries, etc. Protected bike paths lead up to the building and then throughout the city. The apt was clean and bright, comfortable and well decorated. There was no door separating the bedroom from the rest of the apt, which was a problem when one of us wanted to sleep and the other listen to the radio or tv in the other room. Laurie was gracious and responsive. Definitely recommend it.

We really enjoyed our week at the condo. The location was perfect for biking, and an easy walk to shopping and dining. (We did cook a couple of dinners - the kitchen was well supplied with utensils.) We were even provided with warm sunny days, although most of the clothes we brought were based on the cool wet weather we had been having at home. The underground garage was a welcome addition as a safe place to store our bikes.

Our month-long stay in this modern, clean and comfortable apartment was amazing! The location was perfect, in the beautiful Plateau area; close to grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants and Parc Laurier. The convenience of bus, metro or bike transportation nearby made exploring the neighborhood and the City of Montreal a pleasure. Our hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating. We can't wait to return!

This is a cozy, sunny little apartment. It is well appointed and everything is new. It is located right across from a nice park in a pleasant neighborhood with convenient restaurants and grocery stores. It's a ten minute walk to the metro and fifteen minutes to the restaurants and bars on Mont Royal. There is also a bus that runs right by the front door that goes to the metro if you don't want to walk. The best part about the apartment is that it gets great sunlight from two massive windows. Laurie was really friendly. We really enjoyed our time there.

Nothing negative to say about the place really. The location is excellent, right around the corner from a number of nice cafes (try out Cafe Les Entretiens on Laurier if you get the chance!), restos and shops and across from a park. Kitchen has all the utensils and basics, we even cooked a meal for one night of our stay. Place was clean, has a flat screen television with cable, and parking underground. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Parc Laurier was delightful. It is so bright and fresh and it was wonderful to be fully self-contained in the middle part of a holiday which was mostly at hotels. The park has many squirrels which we saw on each trip to the metro which is just the 10 minute walk away, and if you buy a 3 day pass it is very inexpensive and fast to get to whatever part of Montreal you are sightseeing. Laurie is very friendly and helpful and keeps the apartment well stocked with basics. The nearby streets are very interesting. We walked all the way down St Denis one day to the river, and there is a bike rack right outside. This was a very good experience.

Merci!

Great condo for two people -- just big enough to be comfortable, but cozy. Well equipped with all a couple would want. Wide screen TV, wi-fi, iPod/iPhone docking station. Very clean and modern. Secure building. Conveniently located just a short, 10-minute walk from Metro station and supermarket. Third floor with elevator; free parking in building. Helped make our stay in Montreal very enjoyable.

The condo is a gem: new, bright, and spotless. A guaranteed garaged parking space. (Entrance and exit are one and the same, so use caution.) Just try to find free, convenient on-street parking in Montreal! Great park across the street and it includes a dog park.. Nice view of neighborhood and park from window. Location fabulous: less than a mile from major N/S arteries St-Laurent, St-Denis and Papineau and from glorious Mont-Royal, which runs E/W. Laurie the owner was always there when we needed her and graciously went the extra mile when a problem arose. I shudder to think of other VRBO rentals we had been considering as they turned out to be in crowded sections of the city with no parking and could have had those steep outdoor staircases Montreal is famous for. Lovely to look at but a nuisance to negotiate every time one entered and left a building. I honestly can't think of better accommodations we could have had.

This place is a gem! The location is fabulous--less than a mile from major N/S routes Saint-Laurent, Saint-Denis, and Papineau--all lined with shops and restaurants--and the glorious e/w thoroughfare Mont-Royal, block after block of interesting shops and bistros. The condo itself is great, too. Everything is new and spotless. And not to be discounted is the lovely park across the street, perfect if you bring a dog along as we did. The fact that there is an underground garage with an allocated parking space may be the greatest gift of all. On-street parking in Montreal can be a nuisance of epic proportions. Most parking is metered, and our experience was that .25 bought you all of 5 minutes! There was often in the vicinity of the condo free on-street parking, but that is very hard to come by in most VRBO locations. The owner, Laurie, was very accommodating. She was there for us whenever we needed her, especially the first day or two of our stay when we had lots of questions. One word of caution: be careful when entering or exiting the underground garage, as only one car can fit at a time and a car may be trying to exit when you are trying to enter (or vice versa). This happened to us only once, and we had to back up to let the other car through. All in all, an absolutely wonderful place to stay

I have used VRBO in about 10 countries (with about 20 stays total), so I was aware of what to expect before my arrival. Laurie answered all of my emails and the many questions that I had in a timely manner. The description of the property was as it was described. Our non-stop flight was cancelled and we were rescheduled to arrive at the apartment at 1:00 am, instead of the scheduled 4:00 pm. Laurie met us at the apartment with no problem, even at such a late hour. We found everything in perfect working order in the apartment. Having the underground, secured parking was a real plus and money saver. You are given an assigned parking space and a remote for entry. The bed was very comfortable and having a washer and dryer was very helpful (laundry soap was provided). It is located in a very quiet residental building on the 3rd floor (with elevator service). We used this location as a main stop with many day trips. We never found traffic to be bad. We did walk to the metro (Laurier) many times during the stay. The walk took us about 10 minutes at a leisurely pace. There is also a bus stop right out front that will take you to the metro stop. The bus ran about every 20 minutes and was included on the tourist card. This was very convenient on the one day that it rained. There were many good restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. We would stay here again. The host were very nice and accomodating also. The wi-fi was no problem to use either.

The condo has been the best I've ever rented during my travels. It was clean, spacious and sunny. Since it was hot part of our visit, we were glad to have air conditioning since it's not something that is common in Montreal. The condo is located in a quiet neighborhood with 2 grocery stores within 5 min walking distance with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The Laurier metro station is about 7-10 minute walk from the condo. It's within 3 stops from the Jean Talon market which is fabulous as well as Old Montreal. The location couldn't be better because you can still easily get to central places you want to go but at the same time you can get away from all the hustle and bustle. Laurie was very helpful with all my questions. I liked the fact that I could use Paypal for both my deposit and payment. Very convenient. Laurie met us when we arrived and saw us off as well. Everything went without a hitch. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal.

- We have loved our stay in this modern condo, quiet, private, clean and sunny. This flat allowed us to explore this interesting neighbourhood: Laurier Street, from East to West. We walked everywhere on Le Plateau. This was our first experience with VRBO and we are now hooked. Very positive experience and we strongly recommend staying in this wonderful little nest.
