Mill Creek Cottage is less than eight minutes from the quaint town of Healdsburg. The charming Downtown Square has it all: Wine tasting, shopping, Wine barrel tasting and numerous four star restaurants. The 1200 sq ft cottage is located within a 15 acre gated and park like setting and is extra roomy for two to four guests. The architecture is a converted modern barn style. The upstairs master bedroom has a full bathroom and a sitting area with an oversize sofa and an oversized chair. The room contains a flat screen satellite TV/DVD/VCR and a library with plenty of DVDs, VHSs and novels.
As you enter the cottage you are presented with a large downstairs living room area, featuring a pool table, chairs, sofa bed, and a large satellite flat screen TV and DVD. To your right is the kitchenette, with microwave, coffee maker, convection oven and refrigerator.
The cottage French doors open to a spacious and secluded deck. The deck has plenty of outdoor furniture for sunbathing or to just sit and take in the beauty of the woodsy setting. Amenities include an outdoor gas barbecue, cook top and dining area for entertaining or for enjoying with just a glass of wine as evening begins to fall. Our guests will have access to their own private seasonal vegetable garden and the two acre vineyard of Pinot Noir. The property is also a great starting point for bike riding on the scenic W. Dry Creek Rd. and you can experience the region’s best wine tasting along the way.

The photos do not do this rental justice. It was much more than I anticipated. The other reviews are correct. This cottage is secluded from the owners home and is completely quiet and peaceful. The upstairs master suite is lovely and there are windows all around. The property is fenced, so our dogs enjoyed being off leash. We loved watching the stars from the deck at night. The owners are very hospitable. Great location near Healdsburg and wineries in Dry Creek, Alexander, and Russian River Valleys.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+.

Great location, well placed for all of our wine tasting experiences. Amazingly beautiful & peaceful, outside deck was lovely late afternoon sitting in the sun. Cottage had everything we needed and the owners Don & Janette (and Ryder their gorgeous black lab) were lovely and were there if and when we needed them. All in all, after wine tasting during the day, the cottage was lovely to come back to every evening.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, age 55+.

We had a great stay in the cottage and it couldn't have been easier to plan and enjoy our time. We enjoyed the cottage and the seclusion that it offered for quiet nights and seeing all the stars. Everything was just right for us with comfortable bedding, outside patio to enjoy and the easy access to Healdsburg and opportunities to tour wineries and enjoy the area. Thank you so much!

At the end of September, My husband and I spent two nights at the cottage and fell in love. It's so peaceful, quiet and the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. We had an event packed two days so didn't spend much time at the cottage. The cottage was sparkling clean and the bed is super comfy. we also enjoyed the pool table. The owner left fresh flowers which was such a welcoming touch. Only down side is that the small fridge doesn't have a freezer which we didn't figure that out until we brought home our gelato. Also there isn’t a stove top but we used the grill and it worked out just fine. Would definitely recommend this lovely and peaceful cottage.

Someone once wrote "Do not move, let the wind speak, that is paradise". The wind speaks very clearly in this place. The stars shine clear, bright and numberless. Spent an unforgettable Fourth of July weekend here and loved every minute. The amenities are luxurious, the setting blissful. We would have stayed for a week or more if we could have.

Amazing House!!! So Serene and homey feeling. I felt like it was our home away from home, without the kids. We would love to come back again someday. All in all, a great place to celebrate our anniversary.

We stayed in this lovely house the first week of October and it was perfect. The location could not have been better - close to Healdsburg, but still a country feel. Perfect hosts -little extra fall touches in the cottage that made it feel like home. Well appointed. Hope to stay there again.
