Set far off of the street, it is a peaceful and relaxing place that backs to a beautiful open meadow. There are NO homes behind!! You get that true getaway feeling. Hiking/Equestrian/X-Country ski trails are right out the backyard(right beyond meadow in this picture).

20 Minutes to Lake Tahoe. 15 minutes to Northstar, 15-20 minutes to Squaw/Alpine/Sugarbowl/Boreal. 35 Minutes to Reno. You can walk to Tahoe Donner Ski resort, it is less than 1 block away...!!

  • This is a fantastic place for families. Our 3-year-old doesn't ski, but she enjoyed playing in the snow in the home's spacious backyard. Her older cousins (ages 7 and 9) got in some ski lessons at the neighboring Tahoe Donner resort. The kitchen was impressively stocked with all we needed and more. Overall, it was a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay. We look forward to going back on a regular basis.

  • This home is very comfortable and spacious, all amenities needed are provided. If you are a skier, this is a convenient location for Nordic or Alpine. Dining in area is close, or kitchen is fully stocked. Owner is very nice and easy to contact with any questions. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

  • This cabin is GREAT! Ideal for one or two small families! Our disabled child can't last all day or even 1 hour sometimes in the cold, it depends on his leg braces and how difficult it is to walk in the powder. Having a back yard as a snow park made it so easy for him to go inside and rest a bit while our other children could keep playing! Besides that it feels like a home not a rental..Thanks Stuart... We'll be a regular renter every snow season! Trina
