This contemporary, wheelchair accessible, 3 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home is located on beautiful Church Creek, just 10 minutes from Cambridge, Maryland and the Hyatt Regency Resort, on a wooded 5 ½ acre parcel, nestled amongst 80 year old towering pine trees. The park-like setting is quiet, peaceful, and tranquil; the perfect vacation location.
Bring your boat (boat slip provided, 4' MLW). If you have a canoe, kayak, row boat, or raft, you can launch from the dock or the shoreline. Bring your bicycle. The terrain is flat and scenic. If you’re a serious cyclist, be sure to get a free map of the county bicycle routes from the Visitor’s Center. Fish and crab from the dock or get out the binoculars and do some bird watching. The Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge is minutes away, and is home to a large population of Bald Eagles, and the fall destination for eastern flyway waterfowl.
Golf: The River Marsh Golf Club at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Resort provides golfers with an 18 hole, 6800 yard, par 71 course with wide fairways, sculpted bunkers, magnificent greens, and beautiful views of the Choptank River.
Clearview Golf Course at Horns Point is challenging and fun for any level player. You'll enjoy remarkable views of the beautiful Choptank River from several holes on the course. This par 72 course plays 6,450 yards from the back tees, with ponds, traps, tree-lined fairways, and firm greens.
Linkwood Golf Course - Casual public 18 hole golf course, with (10) Par 4's and (8) Par 3's with no holes under 100 yards. The course is located on Linkwood Drive, just off Route 50, 7 miles east of Cambridge.
Other Area Activities:
• Tour the Spocott Windmill, a replica of a working post mill constructed in memory of Senator John Anthony LeCompte Radcliffe by the late, renowned shipwright Jim Richardson (builder of The Dove and local boat building informational resource to writer James Michener for his novel “Chesapeake”).
• Visit the town of Saint Michael's to walk the streets, take in the restaurants, and visit the quaint shops and art galleries.
• Browse the various antique stores and outlets in Cambridge.
• Take a day trip to the ocean. Ocean City, Maryland is just 90 minutes away. Stop at Assateague Island en route to see the wild ponies which inhabit both Assateague and Chincoteague Islands.
• Enjoy a day “birding”, walking, touring, or hiking through the Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge.
