I would rent this apartment again

We came to Lucca to visit our son who is studying in the IMT campus for this semester. We wanted a place to call home for our week stay and this flat met all and even more of our needs. Mr Stefano was so helpful through e-mail and phone calls to make sure everything was in place. When we arrived in Lucca, Stefano help us find our way to the flat and got us settled in, thanks so much. It was very convenient that we were so close to the train and bus station we used this to connect to everywhere each day to go sightseeing and also to see some shows while we were in town. We really appreciated having the kitchen and living room - we spent a lot of time just catching up in the evenings. We even made a home cooked meal for our son on Sunday night so the kitchen was extremely helpful. After staying for week we know without a doubt this flat was the best choice for us. We were 2 adults and our son came and stayed a few nights so the bedroom and the sofa bed in the living room was wonderful for us. We also found it very economical compared to hotels and so much more comfortable with the extra living space and many amenities like the washer and clothes dryer, the wi-fi, and the heating which worked perfectly. Thanks and we will look you up if we are in Lucca again.

This apartment is all about the view and the location. Everyday, it was a privilege to wake up and go to sleep seeing the view of antique Walls. EVERYTHING is at your doorstep. Sonia, who owns the apartment is a wonderful lady and unbelievably helpful. She met us at the apartment, meeting went smoothly and everything was taken care of very efficiently. The apartment is furnished very well. It is roomy and comfortable with tons of charm. The kitchen is large and very well equipped with anything you could need and having the separate dining area is a pleasure. The TV works great, especially after Sonia showed us how to get channels in English. There is also a CD Player to use after you buy CD's from the fabulous shops closeby. The wi-fi internet connection was excellent. For an extended stay this place is wonderful (we were there for 2 weeks). We felt like real "natives" and it was great to be able to have lunch or dinner at home , instead of going out for every meal. Dear Sonia, as you can tell, we loved our stay at St Peter’s Apartment. Thank you!

'Delightful'

The St. Pietro apartment was ideal for the two of us (wife and husband) during our two-week stay in Lucca. It was centrally located near the Duomo and the railroad station, allowing us to explore the entire city on foot and venture out into Tuscany (Pisa, Florence and the seaside) to Cinque Terre on wonderful day trips. The apartment was extremely quiet, beautifully furnished and maintained, and the service was excellent. The comfortable bedroom and lovely bathroom offered privacy, while the large living room and charming view provided great place to get together. The kitchen was well-appointed, making it easy for us to "picnic" on our favorite market foods and local wine when we felt like staying in. Once, when the wi-fi stopped working (my Ipad’s fault!), Sonia from her home arranged for a maintenance man to come right up, and he fixed it immediately and cheerfully. Sonia was also available to help us with tour information providing tons of books and guides. It was especially convenient to have somebody to call in case of emergency. I would recommend the Coline Lucchesi food tour, Trattoria Canuleia on Via Canuleia for dinner (try the ravioli with pear and pecorino), and the Buca St. Antonio, around the corner from the apartment. Altogether a perfect accommodation, and we would definitely return.

Excellent location (just inside the walls) with a parking space. Bright, clean, well equipped apartment and the owners are friendly and accomodating. We were very happy with our stay. Thank you, Tilde!
