Casa Huerta (Orchard House) is located on 2 private acres in the best neighborhood in Todos Santos. Todos Santos is about an hour from La Paz & Cabo - this is not Cabo! Todos Santos is an artist community with lots of workshops for poetry, yoga, meditation and good surf.
We are nestled in an orchard of avocados, palms, papayas, bananas, mangos, oranges, limes & grapefruits. The location is very private but so close to everything. Visitors can walk to town and also walk to the beach.
Casa Huerta has been built by local artisans and has been designed for indoor and outdoor living. The architecture is of southern baja with a palm palapa and Hawaiian feel. Our kitchen is well equipped for the real cook, or you can walk to many of our great restaurants. We can help you procure fresh fish from the local fishermen and buy organic vegetables which grow in abundance in this area, or even step into the garden to see what's fresh. Great for kids, families or friends!

We stayed in the Casita and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and charming. The location was great- waking distance to everything including the beach and town center, but amongst a beautiful garden, creating a peaceful and private environment. The owner was great in answering all our questions, providing us with directions, and making sure we were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The owner was very friendly and helped us out when we needed it. The casita itself is among the trees, and although it's within 40 feet of the main casa you'd hardly know it. The parking area is separate and the gardens and fences do a great job of separating the two residences. It has a great private patio and you can open up the large sliding doors to make it largely open to the outside. We liked how you could hear the sounds of town, but not so loud as to keep you awake. It's a short walk or drive to the store, a great breakfast place and a bar at the Hotelito. You can also walk down to the beach. We were there in November and participated in one of the nightly baby turtle releases at sunset, which I highly recommend. We were told the releases happen nightly through at least the end of December. The kitchen is well stocked from an equipment perspective, although don't expect any spices or other basics. We even had to buy salt. We would definitely return to this lovely spot in Todos Santos!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Casa Huerta is an oasis of peace and tranquility. We had a lovely time feeling far away from the world yet close to town, the ocean, horseback riding, and a short drive to our surfing class. we had a delightful time getting to know the "local" expat community through our hosts Pamela and Doug. they were friendly and extremely helpful in providing us with excellent restaurant recommendations and local phone numbers. The house contains all the modern amenities with the feel of traditional Mexico. the layout is relaxed and perfectly appointed. the architectural deisgn allows for a spacious feel while maintaining a cozy romantic vibe. no detail has been overlooked. I can't wait to go back --- i feel like i have a todos santos "home." :)Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
