Wonderful Vacation Getaway with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, large family space with pull out sofas, cable TV and Internet access. There is also a large equipped kitchen and dining area. Hudson, FL is a perfect location for fishing, water sports and relaxing. There are 5 local bar/restaurants with live entertainment on the beach in walking distance, public boat ramp, an ice cream karaoke shop, putt putt golf and other fun things nearby. The outside area is for relaxing and having fun featuring a Tiki hut porch with cable TV, over sized dock with boat lift, BBQ area, fire pit, paddle boat and kayak. There is outside storage and plenty of parking with a covered carport. A ramp has been built outside the back door that leads to the water for a wheelchair.

Year Purchased: 2008
I have been enjoying Hudson for over 40 years. My parents bought the lot from my aunt and uncle and then when both my parents passed away I bought it from my brothers and built a house here. I love the water and exploring all depths of it in and around where we are. I drive all our boats, fish, love to ski, sun and just hang out on the islands all day. I have 4 children that love the wanter as much as I do and 5 grandkids that are beginning to feel the same way...a couple are still a little young. I used to teach physical education, but now I am just helping my husband when I can while he farms strawberries in Plant City.
Why the Owner Chose Hudson
The rental is right next door to our vacation home. We bought it in case we ever wanted to add on and move there permanently.
The Unique Benefits of this Bungalow
There are numerous places to eat in walking distance to our place. There is an ice cream shop a block away. The beach is a block away. Two of the eating establishments have live entertainment for dancing if you feel the urge. There are marinas a block either way where you can rent boats, go charter fishing or you can just take my paddle boat or kayak out and fish the flats yourself. You are only 15 minutes from a Casino gambling boat and about 1 hour away from Seminole Hard Rock Casino in Tampa as well as Busch Gardens/Adventure Island. Orlando with all its attractions are about 2 hours away. Anclote Key is about a 30 minute drive in the boat and Caladesi Island (ranked #1 beach in US) is about an hour away by boat or you can drive to Dunedin and take a ferry boat there as well. There is just so much to do in Florida and we are centrally located smack dab in the middle just about.
