There is a reason that Santa Barbara's old-money elite chose the Upper East for their estate locations. Near the Mission and close to Downtown, this fabulous property is centrally located to the best Santa Barbara has to offer. The 4,300 square foot home is filled with exotic and beautiful furniture, and the spacious floor plan allows for privacy and relaxation.

With a half-acre of gardens and architectural stonework, the yard and rose gardens allow for peace and renewal outdoors. The South-facing backyard provides all day sun. Several fruit trees occupy the grounds, including Plum, Lime, Orange, and Pear trees. A large spa is located among the gardens, and is great for evening star-gazing.

Each of the 5 rooms has its own private bathroom. The designer master bedroom with King bed is on the garden side of the home, and boasts a spacious walk-through closet. The other bedrooms are also tastefully appointed with art and specimen furniture. A separate guest house is nestled next to the rose garden. A private living area with flat screen TV makes the guest house a great place to escape the bustle of the house.

The kitchen is large, and has a great dining area for casual meals. It has all the appliances, cooking items, and specialty items a gourmet chef needs. Adjacent to kitchen is a family/media room with comfy seating and a 42" TV, DVD with surround sound.

In the heart of the home are the living room and dining room areas. A sense of ease settles in as you lounge in the chic yet relaxed furnishings. Ample artwork and books will stimulate your creative side. Ponder new ideas while enjoying a fire in the living room.
