Perfect Girls Getaway Lodge

We had an amazing time at the Eagles Wings Lodge for my sisters bachelorette party! There was plenty of open space to play games and lounge around. All of the elements of the lodge were amazing: hot tub, stocked kitchen, cozy living and sleeping space, great view and plenty of bathrooms (great for a bunch of women)! We made ourselves at home for the weekend and enjoyed every minute of relaxation!

We invited family from around the country to come to my parents 50th anniversary celebration here in Ludington. Having a place that was big enough for all of us and comfortable too was hard to find but Eagles Wing Lodge was the perfect location. Roomy, convenient, clean, and beautiful. Nice, big, fully equipped kitchen made meal times easy and since the kitchen is part of the great room, the cooks never felt left out from the fun. We enjoyed several fires in the nice fire pit area in the back yard and still had room to set up outdoor games. A couple of my siblings enjoyed the little store across the road that had all kinds of different beers to try. We spent most of our time on the beautiful beaches at Buttersville, Stearns Park, and the Ludington State Park. The little ones also loved the Sandcastles Children's Museum. It was a great week for all of us and they can't wait to come back to Ludington.

Leedy 40th Wedding Anniversary with Family

Three generations arrived at Eagles Wings Lodge on Friday to help celebrate our parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. One of the owners greeted us and explained what all there was to offer. Then from 6pm until 10pm all 20 family members arrived. Pizza was ordered from Spankys and the fun began. We used the theme of the TV show " Minute to Win it " to play games throughout the weekend. We enjoyed the hot tub throughout the weekend, a bonfire, fishing , U of M vs MSU football game and golf at a local golf course. Each morning one of the four families cooked breakfast and the others alternated cooking duty throughout the weekend. The various " minute to win it " game losers was assigned meal/dishes clean up. The cabin's WIFI allowed some time for the " teens" to monitor their facebooks and even post pictures from the weekend fun online as it happened. As the weekend came to an end, everyone except for the " Newlyweds " of 40 yrs and one son had to pack up and head home after one last lunch meal at the Lodge. Sunday was a chance for the " Newlyweds" to enjoy some local eateries with their visiting North Carolina son. We could think of no better place to enjoy family fun but at Eagles Wings Lodge a place that encased a rustic atmosphere with modern technology. Thanks so much for offering your cabin to families like ours who could experience a once in a lifetime return to the days when gnerations of families were under one roof.

Great Family Vacation Place

Our whole family of 18 had a fun time at this house! The owner told us of places to visit, and graciously gave us map information. We enjoyed the corn hole game, the fire pit, jacuzzi, kitchen, and decor of the house. All ages, from 6 months to 65 loved it! There is so much to do in the area, that we could easily return!

Beautiful Place!

Eagles Wings Lodge is really beautiful. We came at the end of April. The drive up was gorgeous, with the orchards in bloom. It was so nice to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. Perhaps the best part was watching a spectacular thunderstorm from the cozy living room. Seeing the lightning through the floor to ceiling windows was amazing! Our family loved every detail of the lodge - from the themed rooms to the incredible woodwork. Having internet and cable was great, and the access to town and beaches was convenient. And Christian was right, the middle-schooler LOVED the room at the top of the house! Christian, Crystal, and family gave us some great recommendations for food (Ludington will surprise you with its offerings!). My only regret was not bringing more people to enjoy this beautiful lodge and not having more time to enjoy all of the amenities. This is the perfect family or group vacation/retreat spot!

Great cabin

We loved your great cabin on the PM. It was wonderful sitting in the hot tub watching the ducks and geese land in the marsh at sunset. We were all very comfortable. Thanks for the hospitality!

This house and the owners are wonderful! We had our company holiday party here with 13 people. The owners even come early and had the whole house decorated and it was beautiful. You could not ask for better hospitality! The kitchen is fully stocked, including 2 crockpots and lots of spices. All the bedrooms have comfortable beds and comfortable linens. The upstairs loft has two cots for sleeping. The loft is pretty much for children or teens and should not be counted on as comfortable sleeping for adults. The owners also let us use their Wii, which we had a ton of fun with. There are lots of games and lots of comfortable sitting areas. There is an additional couch and recliner with tv room off the entrance that makes a nice little getaway from the main area. The hot tub is fantastic. The view out the windows in the livingroom is breathtaking. The house was incredibly clean and the decor makes you feel right at home and extremely comfortable. Everything was in working order in this house. If you are looking for a house this size, in this area, look no further, rent this house!

Planning Retreat for 15

We had 15 ladies stay overnight at your facility and it worked perfectly for us. There was plenty of room in the common areas for us to all be together to brainstorm and work. The rooms are all very well thought out with private rooms as well as common areas. Easy to find and easy access to Ludington and highway. Owners met us with the key and to go over anything we needed. Very clean and well kept with beautiful handcrafted details. Highly recommed this to anyone looking for a multi family getaway or work retreat!

Daughters Wedding

This was a wonderful place to stay and prep for our daughters wedding in Scottsville. 16 of us stayed in a comfortable setting, enjoying the solitude, leaving the stress of a wedding behind. The lodge is everything described and more. Everything is provided with more than enough room for all. This is a great place for any type of family get together or for a group just wanting to connect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everyone just raved about the lodge interior which is simply amazing. It is a great place to forget about the hectic city life. The wedding was great and so was our stay at the Lodge.

Family Reunion

We grew up in the area so it was such a treat returning as a tourist. The house was perfect for a reunion with our two children and their families since we are scattered across the US. The grandchildren loved the loft and called it their playroom...all the toys and Wii were such a bonus! Christine was so accomodating, helpng us resolve the issue of a toddler and those alluring stairs. Loved the well appointed kitchen and impeccable furnishings. Used the firepit every night when relatives joined us for dinner. Truly a delightful experience. The sand dunes of Lake Michigan are unbelievable...even tried the dune buggies.

Great for a family get together

I organized a stay at Eagles Wings from Colorado to meet up with my friends and family during my trip back to Michigan. The communication was top notch from booking to arrival. The lodge was perfect. Close to a small unknown beach, excellent backyard fire pit, deck with hot tub and a lot of room on the inside. Very modern with all the items necessary to have a stress free vacation. We played golf, went kayaking and spent a lot of time at the beach. We had one small problem getting the HD television to work for the Pistons game and the owner actually came right over and solved the issue without a hickup. Highly recommend this place for any gathering.

Blessing of the Bikes 2009

We had 5 couples and 7 bikes up for the Blessing in Baldwin. You offered excellent accommodations. You've done a wonderful job making the lodge feel rustic, with all the luxuries of a top notch rental. Everything was spotless and offered the privacy of being away from any neighbors. Watching the sunrise over the riverflats in the morning is breathtaking. We'll be back next year!! Liked it so much, I booked my 'girls' weekend in September, which will also be a repeat visit in 2010. Thanks again Christian & Crystal!!!

I just returned from hosting a weekend scrapbooking retreat at the Lodge. We had 14 women with all of our gear and we all had plenty of room. I first visited Eagles Wings Lodge for a family party and loved it so much, I suggested it to friends for a girls getaway. The decor is so beautiful with all the natural wood and the creative ways in which the tree limbs, tree trunks and siding was used. It is very roomy and serene. And the view is breathtaking overlooking the Pere Marquette river especially when snowing. You can be sure I will return.

I stayed at the lodge for a family reunion. We had around 32 people who stayed at the lodge. There was plenty of room for everyone. We are planning on making this a yearly event. The decor was amazing. My husband and I even talked about renting the lodge for a romantic weekend. Whatever your needs, I am sure you will find this place will suit them.

This was a wonderful experience! This house held 2 families and then allowed us to invite 3 other families for dinner and ice cream. We enjoyed the views, the room, the decor, the wild life--just everything. It was through the Lord that we met the owners and were able to stay in their wonderful rental. We went to Ludington for a family reunion. We used the house as our family meeting place. It was so comfortable. It gave our gatherings a feeling of being home. We had 15 people sleeping in the house, there was room to spare. The house is so beautiful. View is wonderful. Very close to everything. The owners told us about a beach just a few minutes from the house. There were times we were the only people on the beach. Staying in this beautiful home was an added bonus to a great vacation.

This cabin is gorgeous and the owners are very friendly. We had a men's overnight with our church on a Friday and the youth used it on the following Saturday night. A fun time was had by all. I know of girls who have gotten together and used it for a scrapbooking/crafting weekend. We would definetely recommend the cabin for a family getaway as well. Whatever you use it for you will certainly want to go back year after year and make wondeful memories.
