Cape Coral is famous for its' amount of waterways. Almost every street is on water and in fact Cape Coral has more waterways than the famous city of Venice, Italy. Alternatively you could easily hire one and enjoy exploring the many beautiful islands, restaurants and beaches, only accessible by boat. If you decide to leave your canal-side paradise and explore further afield, a short drive away are the magnificent beaches of Fort Myers, and the barrier islands of Sanibel and Captiva, world famous for its' fine shelling and Ding Darling Nature Reserve. We stayed in this beautiful house last week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, very comfortable and was exactly as the pictures portrayed. The kitchen was fully equipped, lots of towels available, the owner was right when he said all you need to bring are your clothes! Rented a boat that was docked just feet from the house. Got out to the river in about 5 minutes and to the ocean in about 45 minutes. We were able to reach the owner easily with any questions we had. We would recommend this home without reservation.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
