Stone and wood throughout, much detail and care went into this wonderful 'vacation home'. There is a master bedroom/bath suite on the second floor along with two additional bedrooms and a bathroom for them to share. First floor powder room includes a 'new washer and dryer' for your use. The open floor plan with a sun room walled with 'French doors' lends itself to fun times and great entertaining for the family. Enjoy walking the 'beach' as far as you want in either direction, or just set your chair down and listen to the waves make their way to 'shore -- it's all so peaceful.
Set in a woodsy, 'country atmosphere', you might find a turtle on the road, walking stick on the back deck, or deer finding their way through the back yard. It's all good memory making stuff that lasts! Come on in and find out why Livingston's is the place to plan your 'vacation' around!!!

This house was perfect for our group of 6 (4 adults and 2 young kids). The open concept first floor was an ideal setup - allowed space for the kids to play, an area for quiet reading and a huge fully stocked kitchen. Its a short, easy walk to a private beach and St Joe is only about an 8-10 minute drive away. The property managers were very easy to work with, answered questions quickly and returned our deposit immediately! Overall I highly recommend Livingston's Beachhouse and look forward to returning ourselves next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Very nice and clean property. I, my husband and son stayed there with 2 more couples and there was enough room for all of us. The beach was just steps away and it was just beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay and will not hesitate to book this property again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We enjoyed Livingston's Beach House with my elderly parents and 2 sisters. My mother was impressed with the cleanliness and we certainly appreciated the central air conditioning during the heat wave! The kitchen was well -equipped and we liked using the grill as opposed to heating up the house with the oven. We had problems with the DVD player and were able to call the owner directly to ask for advice. He had a spare DVD player in the house and instructed us to go ahead and hook it up. Our only complaint is with the location. The house is located about 15 minutes outside of St. Joseph. To get to the private neighborhood beach, you had to climb down over 100 steps. They were not very sturdy either. This presented a problem for the older folks in our group. However, they thoroughly enjoyed Silver Beach in St. Joseph. It was very family friendly and level! Our restaurant recommendations include Caffe Tosi for breakfast, lunch or coffee, Schu's Grill for a nice view and good food, and our favorite- Bit of Swiss Pastry Shop- definitely worth the trip.Did you find this review helpful? This was a great place. To begin with the communication with renting folks was fast, clear, thorough. That made me feel good since we are dealing with strangers. The place was exactly what was described. Very new or remodeled. Kitchen fully equipped..A/C was important as it was really hot. Beds/bath/living room, all nice. The walk to the beach is nice, not long and what a GREAT beach!. We spent hours and hours there. Very easy to get to St. Joseph and South Haven, both we good places. Thanks, we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children.

Rates
$350/night (4 night minimum) or $2100/week, plus tax and $100 cleaning fee $350 security deposit required. Rates are based on maximum number of 7 allowed. If additional guests approved, additional charges will be $50/nt/person. All bed linens are provided. Please bring your own bath/beach towels. Please refrain from smoking and leave pets at home (sorry, no exceptions). Long term rentals please call for rates.
