"LITTLE BROOK HOUSE AT ECHO LAKE"
This spacious, non-smoking, five-bedroom, 2.5-bath retreat with hot tub, Jacuzzi bath and loads of amenities, is perfect for large families, reunions or groups of friends! It's a five-minute walk from Echo Lake, where a two-person kayak is docked for your private use. The house sleeps 14 (including two sofabeds). Relax in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch on lazy summer days, or gather in the hot tub on the back deck that overlooks state forest land listen to the babbling brook. Kids love to play in the creek, hike in the back woods (hundreds of acres with a series of waterfalls and gorges), play volleyball or horseshoes (adult and kids sets), bocce or croquet, ride the tire swing, kick a ball around the expansive lawn, and catch snakes and salamanders. Cross the street to the Black River and catch a few largemouth bass. Head down the road to Echo Lake for some paddling, fishing or splashing!

Just wanted to say thank you, we had a great weekend at the Little Brook House. The January thaw didn't bring the best ski conditions, but it did cause the brook behind the house to be running full speed, which was just spectacular while sitting in the hot tub. We may come calling again next season!

I just wanted to say "thank you" from our group! We had a fantastic time at the little brook house and truly loved every minute of our stay. Everyone skiied on Saturday when we were lucky enough to get a little snow, and we spent the rest of the weekend just playing games, watching football, and enjoying some of the great titles from your movie collection (Silverado was a real hit!). It was also very nice to be able to sit back and relax in the hot tub on the back deck. We made great use of the kitchen, although I think we ate waaaay too much, and we had a fire roaring the entire time we were there. All in all, we were more than pleased and are already talking about possibly returning next year.

We had a FANTASTIC time at Brook House this past weekend!!! The house was just as described. We all had a great time hiking up along the brook, the waterfalls were so beautiful. The weather was a perfect 70 degrees everyday, so we were able to sit out on the back deck and enjoy listening to the brook, and sat out front just to hang out. Thanks too for the list of things to do, that was a great idea. We had such a great time that we are thinking of coming up during the summer!! We had a wonderful time and loved the house. It is great for family gatherings. Fourteen of us were able to eat together in the expansive kitchen. Each family took a different night and cooked for the rest of us. It was great fun. The divided living room gives a place for different activities but still be together. We hiked up the creek and saw the beautiful waterfalls and lots of mushrooms. Thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful place with others. Sincerely, Marilyn

I’m writing to say thank you for use of the house; we all had a great time. The house was comfortable, and also really warm. We also got much use out of the kitchen, and much enjoyment and healing from the hot tub - the place was as advertised.
