Our recent stay was June 16 - June 22, 2012. The cabin looks like it sits back in a beautiful meadow, but it is right off the main road and the meadow you think is right out your window is now a huge ditch because they are doing water control (the bridge off the deck is now gone due to this). We had four kids 8 and under and they had now where to play but in dirt. The inside of the cabin is nice but everyone complained about how uncomfortable the beds were. Our bed was hard as a rock! If feel we should have been warned about the water control (the workers where there every day even though we were told the would not be working during our stay) so we could decide weather to deal with the construction or they should offer a discount for the hassle.

Owner response: The ongoing construction was due to a recent grant received for damage from wildfires in 2011. The time to complete the work is very short so we have done everything possible to let guest know of the ongoing construction. The guest did receive an substantial discount of two nights free with the reservation. We also offer all guest the option of using the adjacent property which is not under construction and offers plenty of room for childrent to play. We have never received any complaints regarding beds and maintain all of our beds offered to guest are very comfortable.
The Greer Glen sleeps 6 to 26 guests, starting at $550/night. 2 Night Minimum, Holiday Weekends are 3 Night Minimum. 6.05% Tax Will be Added at Time of Charge. Cleaning Fee $ 75 - 150 Specials: Please contact our reservations department for specials @ 520.343.4313
