The "Propriété Royale" located on rue St. Paul is one of the nicest 2 bedroom apartment you can find in Le Marais area. It gathers many advantages for the tourist traveler in terms of location and comfort.

This 700 sq. ft apartment is located on the second American floor of a very nice and well maintained building, and has been completely renovated in 2004. It is nearby all facilities including metro, church, cafés, bakeries, and restaurants...

Features of the apartment include sleeping comfortably up to six guests, two in one bedroom's queen size bed, two in two single beds in the second bedroom, and 2 two more in the luxurious hide-a-bed sofa (queen size and very comfortable). Stereo, Cable TV, VCR,DSL, dining table, linen cupboard, and telephone are also featured.
There is also a garage if you rent a car !

Cozily decorated, it features real beams and a tomette tile floor. The kitchen has an electric stove, multifunction microwave oven, refrigerator with freezer, electric coffeepot, dishes, cutlery, and washer/dryer machine. The full bathroom has a bath, one sink, linen with cupboard and separate toilets which also have a sink. (The toilet sink is very useful for the morning wash when 4 or more people are staying at the apartment.)

Available services include: free local telephone, free electricity, heat. Also, the rate includes taxes. The apartment is very close to Hotel de Ville, Notre Dame, Bastille, Ile St Louis, the Place des Vosges, and a few minutes away from most of Paris' center places by subway.

Located in downtown Paris, Le Marais was originally reclaimed to provide building space for the Right Bank. Nearby, the famous Place des Vosges was built by Henri IV at the beginning of the 17th century. The area is now the city's center of fashionable living. Architects and sculptors designed elegant mansions and hôtel particulars with large courtyards and rear gardens during the 17th century. Now the Marais has been declared a historic neighborhood, and you can now find trendy boutiques, cafés, and museums in the district. The area's narrow streets, nevertheless, retain the stamp of a medieval village.

  • A great apartment in the heart of Paris. The Marais is a great area to stay in. We did so for a week in Sept. with another couple, and were very happy with the accommodations. Comfortable beds, a well equiped kitchen, a variety of Metro stations minutes away, and wonderful shops and restaurants within walking distance. It felt like we were living in Paris, not just visiting.

  • we stayed at this property for 4 days and left with excellent impression. firstly, everything was ready and clean as to be at home. then the proximity to everywhere we wanted to go to was just so convenient. what else than waking up in the morning to freshly baked croissant smell coming from close by bakeries. we had them for every breakfast.. this is strognly recommended property.

  • The rental property is in a great spot. Close to the Metro, grocey store, bakery, and sites. Having a 2 bedroom is great. It is on a busy street, can be noisy in one bedroom, bring earplugs if you need to have the windows open. I felt it was worth having the location. The apt. was nice because the bathtub and toilet were in different locations in the apt. Pretty much like having two bathrooms.   • This apartment was apsolutely perfect. We came in a group of six adults (2 couples 2 single)and found the accomadations perfect. The apartment is close to everything. If you are not familiar with the city it is in a great location on line one, close to grocery store, bank, metro, Seine, what more could you want. One down side is that we were there in August and Paris is rather hot in August. It was noisy to sleep with the windows open so the apartment got stuffy by morning, but this should not be a reason to deter anyone. I would stay here again in a heart beat!

  • We are a family of five, with two teens, one preteen, and Rue St Paul was wonderful. The kitchen worked well for dinners (Monoprix nearby), it was quiet and comfortable, yet right in the middle of everything. Easy to walk or to take the metro, and several nearby bakeries. The separate bedrooms were nice as was the towel heating rack in the bathroom. Excellent place for a family. And easy to take off for a run as well.

  • Everything I needed was provided in this beautifully decorated spacious two-bedroom apartment. I especially liked the marble bathroom and the very well equipped kitchen that overlooks the courtyard. The beds are very comfortable and the old adobe tile floor in the living room-dining room is perfectly charming. This neighborhood is so very convenient with a supermarket right around the corner and three great bakeries within a block! I walked to most of the major Paris sights or took the Metro that is just 5 min. from the apartment.
