Our stay in Pistoia was fantastic...a wonderful town with great access to Florence and the surrounding area of northern Tuscany.....Titti, our hostess and owner of the apartment was gracious enough to meet us at the train station and take us to the apt. and show us the local sites......The apt was spectacular,with every modern convenience, decorated to the highest level and spotless......the building itself was centrally located so there is no need for a car and has a lift,which made it great to get suitcases up and down. Our stay in Pistoia was perfect and made complete with the most perfect of apartment.......again Titti thanks a million I RECOMMEND THIS APARTMENT WITHOUT HESITATION

My wife and I stayed in this most wonderful accommodation for two weeks during May 2010 as the first part of a 15 week holiday in Italy. What a wonderful way to start...this is just a most beautiful and large apartment with everything in it that anyone could possibly want. The location is fabulous and the owner was so helpful in ensuring that we were totally satisfied with everything and we would go back and stay there in a "heartbeat". We didn't have a car, so used the train for our travels and the walk to the stazione is 6/7 minutes and there are so many beautiful places to visit close by (Lucca, Poretta Terme, Montecatini and of course Florence). Wonderful is all we can say (for both Pistoia and the "Palazzo". Don't miss out.... and definitely try la Bottegaia for a meal or two

I stayed here in September 2009 with some friends. It was a wonderful experience...a lovely apartment within 5 minutes of the town's historic center. Everything, including the train station, was within walking distance. The proprietor was delightful and very, very helpful and thoughtful. The apartment was updated with all essential appliances and beautifully furnished. Outside it was quiet at night, bustling during the day. I would definitely return and recommend this to friends! My dream of renting an appartment in Tuscany and then inviting friends to stay there with me (it sleeps four) was realized in Fall of 2009 when I rented this beautiful appartment in the center of Pistoia--a favorite "walking" town of mine with easy train access to Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, Bologna, Parma and even Venice (an easy overnight trip just 4 hours away). You definitely do not need to rent a car while staying here unless you want to explore areas unavailable by train. In that case, there is a local travel office, Antologia Viaggi. The people there are very friendly, and many speak English. The appartment's owner speaks English very well and is the most accommodating person you could hope to meet. She even waited in Pistoia for 4 hours past my scheduled arrival time after both my plane and train was delayed AND my cell phone didn't work properly upon my arrival--making it impossible to advise of the delay. Every time my guests or I needed any assistance, the owner was totally available by cell, provided all sorts of travel info and generously showed us around the area. The apartment was spotless, well furnished, had a great kitchen, offered every convenience (even a clothes washer), and I never felt uneasy about being there. To the contrary, it was in the center of everything and made showing off the city so easy--even well into the evening without fear of getting lost or having to find our way back in the dark by train or taxi after enjoying a great wine with dinner. Having visited Pistoia many times for shorter periods over the years, it was so fun to enjoy an extended stay in such a beautiful, comfortable appartment with my friends and to be able to walk to what became our favorite coffee shop, the daily fresh food markets, weekly regional markets, historical sites and great restaurants. My favorite restaurant in Pistoia is without a doubt La BotteGaia, and the same owners run I Sapori della BotteGaia ("the tastes of La BotteGaia"--a kind of Italian deli/wine shop) and a closeby wine shop called La Vineria. My three-week stay there was a dream come true for me and all of my friends, and I highly recommend this property to anyone who longs for a Tuscan adventure that just happens to include a friendly, accommodating person who willingly provides a "safety net" that removes any doubts you might have about being so far away from home. It's truly one of the best places under the Tuscan sun!

I will forever love Pistoia! The apartment was absolutely wonderful and I felt as though I was home from the moment I walked thru the door. The apartment was charming and had every amenity anyone could need. The location is excellent; a short walk to restaurants, shops, and the train station. I felt safe both in the apartment and exploring the town at any time of the day or night. My only disappointment was when I had to leave to return to the States. Titti is a lovely woman who goes out of her way to make your stay very memorable. I look forward to the day when I can return to this lovely community and apartment.
