  Our extended family (9 adults, 1 child) stayed at the house to celebrate our daughters graduation from WWU March 2013. The view from the kitchen, dining & living room areas is breathtaking and all the rooms are artfully decorated with a music theme that we loved. From the master bedroom you wake up to 180 degree water views without leaving your bed and there is something magical about taking the first cup of coffee in the morning outside to listen to the waves come in. I would recommend this house to everyone.

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed SUCIAMANOR during our Christmas holiday. The delightful fully-lighted tree and Christmas decorations were perfect. We all are very musical, so each family member enjoyed the "music-themed" bedrooms and using the keyboard and electric guitar. We cooked, laughed, made chocolate candies, played games, and spent lots of time talking to each other. The view was breathtaking, even if the weather was overcast and sometimes drizzly. Inside, the atmosphere was warm and wonderful. We were completely comfortable!

  The house and the location are ideal. Incredible views of both the San Juan islands and the Canadian Gulf islands, lots of seals, fishing boats, unbelievable sunsets and a home that is both spacious and cozy. The house has a panoramic view from almost every room and each room is decorated for both comfort and fun. The owner was very friendly, responsive and easy to work with. The house has everything you will need for a great vacation. The kitchen cooking utensils, pots and pans, etc are a bit on the worn out side, so if you like to cook you may want to bring some of your own. But overall everything about the home is excellent! We can't wait to come back again.

  What an amazing house! The water is right there! It was really quiet and beautiful! It was perfect for a group of Moms to get away for a weekend. We will be back!

  Just got back from a 3 night stay at Sucia Manor. I was up there with 7 other friends for a wedding. We had a great time: the house is beautiful, the owner is trustworthy, flexible and honest. House was very clean, well stocked. I would highly recommend staying here with a group of friends or your family the next you visit the Pacific NW!

  my friends and I wanted a getaway from south King county over 4 days during Labor Day and picked Sucia Manor based on the size, views, location (..2:15 drive. not to far away yet not to close either), and value..this place is a great deal and a home run if you need a place for couples or a larger family. Easy to find, something for everyone near by...biking,relaxing, hiking, kayak, casino...we did it all. Owner was easy to deal with, property was immaculate, kitchen and house well appointed, nice tvs, 1 bed on first floor if stairs are an issue. The views and sunsets are out of this world.

  Absolutely fantastic home for my family to enjoy.Large with wonderful amenities, especially the music themes and instruments ( especially with two of the teen rock fans). Photos can't do it justice. Magnificent sunsets, small waves lapping, over looking the San Juan Islands, ospreys -- Mother Nature in all her grandeur. Allen, the owner was most helpful. My family would highly recommend this lovely home.

  Wow! What can I say... Beautiful and spacious home, amazing kitchen and a barbeque option, unbelievable waterfront views, peaceful and quiet, welcome visits by orcas and otters, and open fires for smores! This was the perfect place for our 3 family vacation.

  I stayed at "Sucia Manor" with a group of friends while visiting Bellingham and Vancouver, B.C. in February of 2011. The house is huge, well-appointed and really charming. Each room has a musical theme and it is obvious the owner has put a lot of thought and effort into making the house feel like home. Killer views from every room. Breathtaking sunsets. Very private and quiet. We liked that it was close to the Casino; downtown Bellingham; and (of course) the water. There is a marina across the street from the house and the next time we stay, we'll probably bring our boat. The house sits in a perfect location for exploring the San Juan Islands. Five stars!

  This house is beautiful! Literally my dream house. The view of the water is gorgeous and I wished I didn't have to go. Thank you for providing this gorgeous house for us to escape to.
