I stayed here while attending a conference in the Omni directly across the street last month at a fraction of the price of a hotel room. The location was perfect - right across from the hotel, and very close to 6th Street for all the nightlife and restaurants. The condo is spacious, nicely decorated, and spic-n-span clean. The building security made me feel safe, and the valet service was wonderful. Raj was a dream to deal with - responsive, kind, and answered my 8 million questions patiently. I highly recommend the condo to anyone looking for a great downtown location.

If you are planning a trip to Austin plan to stay here. If the condo isn't available consider changing your dates. It is immaculate, elegant, hip and quite roomy. It is has a nice view you can enjoy from the balcony while sipping your coffee in the morning or a cocktail at night. One of the sights you can see is the very pricy hotel across the street where the guests paid a lot more for less. The location is amazing. One of the things that drew us to Austin is the Book Festival held downtown in front of the capital grounds. We were 3 blocks away. A couple of blocks in the other direction put us in the middle of Austin's famous music scene, the 6th street bars. Turn left for loud music and debauchery. Turn right to find restaurants. Or go straight another couple of blocks to amazing restaurants. The owners were great to deal with. Everything was as they said it would be. The one thing I needed but didn't find was delivered minutes after alerting them. This is an amazing condo in an amazing city. I want to go back.

Stayed here weekend of Nov 4, 2011. What a wonderful, clean condo in a safe, convenient and totally hip area. We loved it. We didn't get to meet Raj personally as we felt there was no need for him to come into the City just to show us around the condo, our choice. But any correspondence with Raj was answered immediately. He texted me before our plane even landed to make sure we got there ok. Keys were left with the concierge and the second set was left in the condo. We texted back and forth if I had any questions and Raj answered them immediately. Gave us great directions to walk to the U of T football game. Condo is so close to the University. There is so much to do around there. We walked over the Stubbs the first night (most incredible bbq) and liked it so much we stayed to listen to the music, Longwoodson, great local band. Next day was breakfast at the Driskoll Hotel just a few blocks away and then the football game. After the game we walked around 6th Street and had a late lunch there. Sunday we had breakfast at Progress Coffee (another awesome place to eat, very comfy, very homey) and then walked over to Lady Bird Lake to see the Stevie Ray Vaughan statue. After walking around the lake a bit we walked up Congress Street to the Capitol building which we so enjoyed we stayed most of the afternoon exploring the building and the grounds. For dinner we went to Iron Cactus on 6th Street and then drinks at the Driskoll. After that a quick walk up back to the condo where we went up to the 13th floor rooftop deck and sat there for a a few hours enjoying the warm air and the lights of Austin. We just felt so at home at this condo that it made our trip way more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this condo to friends and family. And seeing that we fell in love with Austin, we plan to stay at the condo again. No need to rent a hotel room when you have a place this special to stay in. Rent this, you'll be glad you did :-)

We stayed in this condo in October and it was perfect. We were walking distance to the UT tailgate area and all the live music downtown, it's also 2 blocks from The Driscoll Hotel. The price was much less than the standard hotels in the area and you have about 3x as much space. The condo is very clean and nicely furnished with plenty of towels and blankets. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone we know traveling to Austin.

The location of this condo couldn't be better. Walking distance to all the hip bars and restaurants, as well as many of the historical sites. Even walking distance to the LBJ Library. Raj has stocked the condo with everything you'll need. There's even a very cool soaking tub in the unit. The condo is beautiful and clean. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I would recommend this place to my best friend! And hopefully, we’ll be able to come back our next long stay in Austin. The place looks a LOT BETTER in person than the pictures, and it’s also bigger than what the pictures show. VERY CLEAN, VERY comfortable for 2 people, AMAZING location for both business people and tourists. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby: across the street from the drake (awesome happy hour!), just 2 blocks away from the art museum, the congress and 6th street. A few block away from the river walk and the music area. Less than a mile away from wholefoods. You can pretty much walk everyway, or just a tiny cab ride anywhere. On top of the place being great, Raj (the owner) was an EXCELLENT HOST. The most amazing thing was that before we agreed to stay there, he “warned” us that there were construction at the entrance of his building. We were in Austin a few days earlier and we knew about it and we thought it was not a big deal, but the fact that he told us before we signed the agreement speaks volumes of him and his integrity. We stayed there anyway and it was not a big deal, you can’t even hear them during the day. During our stay he checked with us to see how everything was going. We had a problem one day with the cable and he come almost immediately, called the cable company and solved the problem. REALLY good customer service and attention to details! Another great thing was that there were cleaning supplies and all the basic kitchen staples (oil, vinegar and condiments). The kitchen itself is great and you have all the basic pots and pans to do some basic cooking for 2. Another thing that is important for us: the water pressure in the shower was great. Overall: GREAT experience and GREAT place!
Owner response:Thanks, Paula, it was a pleasure having you guys stay at the apartment.

My wife and I just spent this past weekend at the condo, and we still can't believe what a great place this is. This was our 5th trip to Austin, and without a doubt this is the best place we've stayed at. As nice as the pictures and descriptions are, they don't do this property justice. Everything about this place was top shelf! It was more than we expected, to say the least. You're within walking distance to everything that Austin has to offer, so there's really no need to rent a car. Raj was the perfect host, and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We're looking forward to staying here for our next trip.

My boyfriend and I returned to Seattle earlier this week from a three night/four day stay in Austin. It marked our first visit to Austin. We went to explore the city, eat some bbq, and take in some music. Raj's condo in Brazos proved to be the perfect epicenter and haven during our stay. It is spacious and perfectly appointed. We provisioned it with some food from Whole Foods so we could enjoy breakfast in, after late nights out dining and listening to music. The condo and building are both quiet and secure...but within blocks you find yourself in the pulsating Warehouse district or along Congress street. We walked nearly everywhere, taking in the Capitol and the University of Texas campus. We also strolled along the Lady Bird trail bordering the Colorado river. We crossed the bridge and ventured into the south Congress district which has its own energy. After each exploratory we would retreat to the condo and relax inside or up on the rooftop terrace before venturing out again. As I alluded to above, several music venues, and restaurants with delectable Tex-Mex and BBQ are within easy walking distance or a short cab ride. I have stayed at a number of VRBO properties and this is one I would not hesitate to return to or to recommend to my friends. As mentioned by others, Raj is easy to work with, responsible, and accommodating.

My girlfriend & I stayed at Raj’s condo the 1st week in March. Fantastic place to stay & incredible value.Turned to VBRO after being unimpressed with Austin hotel options. Rather than stay in a generic, over-priced, standard hotel room, we had an expansive apartment we could truly call home for the week - and pay way less than we would at a hotel. Could not have been happier with our choice. The Apt.My GF was quick to observe how “it looks exactly like it does in the online pictures.” That is true, but the photos don’t do the balcony justice – it’s large. We had cocktails on it at nite & breakfast there on sunny mornings. The apt. is clean, spacious, open & dynamic. And is quiet & peaceful at night. There’s a full kitchen, with every amenity available. Emeril Lagasse could go to town. Living area has a wood-table dining area & living room for watching TV…more for sitting than sprawled-out lounging.Nice size bedroom, and like everything in the apartment, is very uncluttered. There’s also an ultra-handy washer & dryer in the bedroom closet. Just as the kitchen & bathroom have all the essential supplies, detergent was right there on the washer.Bathroom is spacious w/jetted tub (we didn’t try) and high-pressurized shower. The closet off the bathroom is the size of some hotel room bathrooms. SecurityThere’s a friendly concierge during the day, and the bldg can only be accessed via key at night. The elevator won’t leave the lobby if you don’t have your key. The BuildingNever used the gym, but we did spend our last nite on the scenic rooftop. Brought up some wine & cheese and were alone up there, watching the sunset. There’s also a market in the building. Not the most fully-stocked place, but a very convenient place to grab essentials.LocationIdeal. Quiet block, yet 2 blocks from 6th street bars, restaurants & live music. It’s a 10-min walk to the State Capital and another 5 to UT. Follow-upWe had a problem with Wifi, and Raj called back within the hour, helping to resolve the problem. Any issue, he’ll get back to you pronto.Conversely, he’s in no way intrusive in checking up on things. Last day, waited to call us, in case we slept in.ConclusionEven if such hotel rooms were to exist in Austin, it would be at least $350 a night. We had some skepticism about renting a place we’d not seen but was such a gre

I have nothing but wonderful and positive comments to post - not only about the property but also about Raj. Although I now live in Chicago, I went to school at UT and can attest to the amazing location no matter what you are wanting to do in Austin. The property itself is highly functional, clean and contemporary. Raj, the owner, was accessible, got back to us almost instantly anytime we had a question and made sure we had everything we needed - impeccable follow thru. When you read the property description, know that it is even better than portrayed. Two thumbs up!
