Very clean, calm, spring fed lake allows for great boating, fishing, and swimming. Two docks, one with convenient bench seating. Floating jump off platform provides for hours of fun in and around the water. Enjoy the peaceful lake view while relaxing on the deck located off the master bedroom, or the large patio where you can gather with friends and family to grill out and enjoy a meal together out of doors lake side. Sneak away to read or relax outside on the back porch, take a quick nap, or sleep like a baby at night in the sun porch. Spend some time visiting, or entertaining in the spacious, comfortable living room overlooking the lake. Due to some flooding my family and I (4 kids and 6 adults) found out Saturday morning that the cabin we had planned to rent for the week was not going to be available. After calling multiple other owners Doug was more then willing to drive up that day and get the cabin ready and take care of the paper work. Everything about the cabin was great. Our kids caught plenty of fish right off the dock and even a few bigger fish out of the boat. The yard, swimming area and fire pit were all wonderful and used everyday. I would recommend this property to any of my friends.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: We are the parents to five wonderful children, and live in Golden Valley, MN
Why the Owner Chose Battle Lake:
We purchased this year round home as a vacation lake home because the commute from Golden Valley, MN is reasonable with five children to consider, and we have family with lake homes in the surrounding area. It feels private and removed from the cities, yet downtown Battle Lake is just minutes from our home, and Fergus Falls only 18 miles.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac, on a large, private lot on the lake. We enjoy the quiet serenity of the area, the children enjoy the dock, jump-off platform, swimming, boating, water-skiing, and having relay races around the yard and of course roasting marshmallows over the fire in the fire pit near the beach. A favorite stop for the children is Granny's Pantry for ice-cream and candy!
