Gorgeous, new two-story town home with a private hot tub on a deck overlooking a beautiful valley and mountains, appointed with rustic and mountain style furnishings, centrally located to all of the activities that Grand County and Rocky Mountain National Park have to offer.
Located within short walking distance to City Market and Starbucks this wonderful home is minutes away from Sol Vista Ski Resort and two golf courses: Headwaters at Sol Vista and Grand Elk. The central location of this home allows easy access to all of Grand County’s attractions. Hot Sulfur Springs, our best kept secret, is a 15 minute drive. Winter Park and Mary Jane Ski Resorts are a 25 minute drive or you can take a free ski bus that comes to our property.
There are miles of Nordic skiing terrain within short distances at Sol Vista , Snow Mountain Ranch, or Devil’s Thumb Resort. Grand Lake and the three lakes (Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain, and Grand Lake) are all within a 15 minute drive. Outdoor activities include hiking trails, skiing, boating, biking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, rafting, and much, much more.
The home sleeps comfortably 8 people. There are two queen beds in the master and the second bedroom, and a bunk bed in the third bedroom. The living room includes a sleeper sofa, Direct TV, DVD/VCR, a gas fireplace, a wonderful deck with a hot tub and a gas grill. Free WI-FI internet connection is available.
Nearby summer activities include nearly all forms of water recreation: boating, water-skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming, as well as kayaking and rafting on the adjoining three lakes and their tributaries. Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest provide miles of hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling trails, as well as unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities.
There are several golf courses in the area: Grand Lake's 18 hole public golf course just north of Grand Lake Village, Headwaters at Granby Ranch, Grand Elk, and Pole Creek. Other fun things include Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater Company performances at the community center of Grand Lake, Jazz Festival in Winter Park, horseback riding, historical homesteads and ghost towns, museums, great restaurants, antique stores, and much, much, more!
