Luxurious, tropical villa (4 bedrooms, 3 bath) in Rooi Catootje, an exclusive suburb of historical Willemstad. Indoor/outdoor living in maximum comfort , sleeps 8-10.
Cook inside in a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, or BBQ outdoors on the very private backyard, 126 square meter covered patio and sun-deck, which has its own bathroom/ restroom and full sized bar seating 12 persons. A large folding (security) door and sliding glass door open up to unite the dining/sitting rooms with back yard patio, forming one large space of 200 sq meters. Total space available for rent is 338 square meters. (The 128 square meter ground floor level consists of garages and a luxury one bedroom apartment which is reserved long term).
The whole architecture of the villa fuses the interior with the exterior: huge windows in every room and a front lanai with a perfect view of the villa’s lovely sculptured landscaping and neighborhood gardens/trees.
Centrally located: short walking distance to everything including banks/ATM, restaurants, nightlife, zoo, kids traffic park, supermarket, and pharmacy. Nearest beaches are a 10 minute drive.
Senior, child and challenged persons friendly. Unique elevated driveway allows second story entry, stepping from car into living room. Ideal for wheelchairs /strollers. Single level floor throughout house and patio. All furniture throughout the villa is made of top quality wood, most especially designed and built for the villa. Off-white ceramic floors and natural colored decorative wooden ceiling gives the interior a luxurious finish. The villa is fitted with various special lighting possibilities for varying moods. The large open spaces allow complete overview of the entire interior.
Open Kitchen: Exquisite Italian marble walls, mahogany cabinets, Corian countertops and stainless steel appliances. Furnished to every detail. Large side-by-side refrigerator with ice blocks & crushed ice machine, automatically cooled water and bottle cooler/bar. Five pits gas cooker with integrated grill plate, oversized gas oven and broiler, microwave combination electric oven and grill. Broad range of top quality appliances. All china, cutlery (for 12 persons) and glassware is provided. In-kitchen-breakfast table, entertainment bar also ideal as side-table for buffet dinners in the adjoining formal dining room.
Dining room/living rooms: This is an open plan space. The formal dining room can comfortably seat 6 (8) at the table and 4(6) at the bar. It is located between 3 separate living room areas: TV/radio, CD/DVD and stereo entertaining, main area, on the other side, the coffee table area and the third area is a reading space, with a small library cabinet containing books for youngsters and grown-ups, family board games and few CD’S with bedtime stories. This area is an ideal indoor playing space while adults watch TV or have coffee in the adjacent living room areas. Two separate corridors in this area lead to the main (3) bedrooms and (2) bathrooms. This set-up provides absolute privacy as none of the 4 bedrooms are adjacent to each other. An over-sized window (2.30 m high and 3.40 m wide) in the main living room area offers a breath-taking view of the greenest residential area on Curacao with an abundance of rare and restful tall trees which attract most colorful singing birds to welcome you to each new tropical, perfect day.
Master suite: The suite consists of a sunlit, corner, master bedroom leading into a private luxurious master bathroom and a walk-in closet stacked with lots of fine linen and towels. The king-size bed (high quality mattress of 200 x 200) with matching dressing table and double compartment (mahogany) closet are custom made for that room. The cable TV/radio is housed in the special compartment in this closet. This exclusive furniture is complemented by off-white colored drapes and bedspread. It is a pleasure to lie in the soft sunlit bed in the morning and watch the colorful singing birds living in the very tall pine-tree outside the window. Both bedside tables are fitted with multi-functional lamps.
Master bathroom:
The bathroom contains a Jacuzzi which can double as a bath tub with a built-in seat in the rim for a sitting shower. There’s a vanity dressing table with plenty of his and hers drawers to stock toiletries. All sanitary including a bidet, washbasin and toilet bowl is of a high standard. The shower with 5 different shower settings is fitted with an instant water heater but you can also choose a cool shower. Ceiling lighting and decorative wall lamps create the atmosphere to suit your mood.
Second, third bedrooms are comparable, but share one bathroom. The 4th bedroom and bath forms the 2nd ensuite in the villa. All beds are recliners (except master bedroom.)
