There are very few executive homes like this for rent on the entire island. Large, and inviting, and begging for you to relax. It even has a private swimming pool and hot tub.
This home is named Ku Kilakila which means “Stands Majestically” in the native Hawaiian language .... and for good reason: when people enter the Ku Kilakila Villa, the most common first word people say is “Wow!” The first thing you see is a majestic sunken great room overlooking the private pool/hot tub and the beautiful green for hole #2 at one of Princeville’s finest golf courses with a distant ocean view beyond. The entire back of the house is glass so you can enjoy the beauty that is Kauai. The great room is surrounded by massive white columns towering to the 14 foot ceiling which boasts a twelve foot skylight and Polynesian style construction. This gigantic great-room is chock full of oversized comfortable furniture great for reading or talking with friends. Or you can all watch television on the giant 60” High Definition plasma TV complete with full Dolby Digital Surround. The flooring throughout the home is beautiful Brazilian Cherry hard wood and Travertine tile.
To the left of the marvelous great-room is a massive kitchen equipped to impress even Wolfgang Puck. Oversized stainless appliances and built-in extras like gourmet coffee makers, plate warmers and dual drawer dishwashers adorn this perfectly designed and well-decorated gourmet kitchen. It even has a temperature controlled wine cellar built in to one of the solid cherry cabinets. Stocked with top quality crystal and utensils, this dream kitchen flaunts its high tech features, without giving up the traditional tropical feel of the home right down to the hands-free faucets and built-in plasma kitchen TV. The oversized island is the centerpiece with plenty of room for everyone. There is also a large dining room and beautiful glass table overlooking the green. In keeping with the style of Ku Kilakila, majestic white columns surround even the kitchen and dining areas. The lighting features in the Kitchen and throughout the home are stunning and beautiful. Also on the main level, the Master Suite is a dream come true. Amazingly decorated, this dream comes with an oversized Cal King bed and a 42” Plasma TV, and has a private access to the Lanai and the Pool and Hot Tub Area. Believe it or not, the private master bath suite even has a private lanai area of its own. This romantic master bath includes a built-in jetted tub which you can completely close to enjoy a steam shower, a wet or dry sauna and even a computer controlled all-over-body water massage while standing. This incredible remote controlled water feature even allows you to make phone calls, answer the phone, or listen to music – all hands free – while you relax and enjoy your choice of spa features. That is the kind of care and quality the owners have incorporated in the home.
The massive covered lanai has an oversized stainless grill and a hammock to relax. Just off the lanai is the private pool and hot tub where you can enjoy the amazing views of Bali Hai. There are two other bedrooms on the main floor each decorated beautifully with top quality furnishings and art. The laundry area on the main floor is next to the entry to the garage. The oversized 2.5 car garage has a tile floor believe it or not, and a bath room of its own.
The 2nd floor of the home has a very lovely 2nd master suite with its own private lanai with distant ocean views across the beautiful golf course. This upstairs private getaway suite is quaint and comfortable with its own private bathroom, and even a charming sitting area with a sofa and coffee table.
Very few vacation rental homes qualify as villas, but the Ku KilaKila Villa is indeed one of them. Come and spent a week or two and live majestically in Ku KilaKila.

This home is beautiful! We spent a week here with 5 adults and one infant and had each had our own space in the house. My son did have a few firsts in the house, which we will never forget. The kitchen was spectacular! I loved the split dishwasher. There was a lot of noise from the golf course, however, we live on a golf course and understand that it can be noisy at times.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

We spent a week here. The layout was good as was the location. However, if you want to use rusted BBQ tools, have window shades that are tattered, have sprinklers wake you at 7:30 Am with water against the bedroom window, hear lawn mowers/leaf blowers on the golf course every morning- @ 7 AM!!!- while you are on vacation, then I suggest you should rent this house!!!!!
