Tropical Breeze is a private home located across from Crystal Beach in the upscale community of Terra Cotta Terrace in Destin, Florida. Just a few minutes to the private beach access you will find yourself on a soft sugar-white beach with dazzling emerald waters.
Tropical Breeze is a three-bedroom, three bath vacation home which features a bright beachy decor, cable TV, VCR/DVD players in every room, a private balcony off the master suite to have your early morning coffee or late night cocktail, a garden tub in the master bath with shower for late evening relaxation, and a king-sized bed for your sleeping comfort. At the opposite end of the upstairs is a guest bedroom with two double-sized beds, a large walk-in closet, and its own private bath with a tub/shower combination. The downstairs guest bedroom offers a queen-sized bed and a private bath with a walk-in double shower. There is no need to fight over a bathroom, with each bedroom having its own private bath.
An outdoor shower, gas grill, and side deck make Tropical Breeze the perfect summer vacation home. Winter guests can snuggle up with their favorite book while enjoying the warmth of a cozy gas fireplace. Enjoy the tropical breezes with your fenced-in private pool (21 x 15). Guests can also enjoy the community clubhouse and pool, sauna, tennis courts, and sand volleyball pit.
Surrounded by lush landscaping on a quiet cul-de-sac, Tropical Breeze offers our guests a charming and safe environment for small children. We have seen to it that you will enjoy every aspect of our home right down to the sheets you sleep on. Why the Owner Chose Terra Cotta Terrace
Destin was such a family oriented area to vacation and the beaches are absolutely gorgeous.

Our journey began in late 2002 when we purchased our first vacation home called Tropical Breeze. We entered this adventure with open minds thinking we would purchase a home, hang on to it for five years, sell and then upgrade to a larger home we would eventually move into. We vacationed in Destin when our busy schedules permitted us to and we would take our shoes off from the time we arrived, and they stayed off until we left. Our days were spent at the beach burying our sons in the sand and enjoying the summer breezes. We felt this was a joy everyone should experience. The only way this could happen was to share our vacation home with others. The response from our guests was so overwhelming that we found ourselves turning families away. With additional planning and a lot of prayer, we purchased Tropical Paradise and Tropical Dreams in 2004. In 2005 we purchased Tropical Escape. Six years and four vacation homes later (2008), we have finally move to Destin.

Lovely rental home in beautiful Destin

My husband and I spent the month of February 2008 in this lovely vacation home. Aside from ourselves, various members of our family came to visit for anywhere from a few days to two weeks. The most people we had was eight, which required use of the hide-a-bed in the livingroom. The kitchen was large enough to easily accommodate several cooks and helpers. The diningroom table easily accommodated all eight and would accommodate 10 without difficulty. The descriptions of the vacation rental provided at the various web-sites were very helpful and well represented what the home looked like. However, we were pleasantly suprised when we arrived by how clean and by the good quality all the furniture and fixtures. Immediately we felt at home and knew we could spend a month in it without difficulty. Our only disapointment was that we could not take our dogs on the beach. There is a lovely walkway along the scenic highway 98 and our dogs enjoyed walks along there. However, in our minds eye as we anticipated our holiday we saw ourselves taking our dogs onto the beach fairly often; whereas this was not the case. Destin is an interesting place. It is all brand new. There was no real downtown area just developments along the highway 98. These developments, shopping and restaurants are all lovely. A local restaurant, The Crab Trap allowed us to take our dogs into the bar at the back of the restaurant overlooking the beach. The shopping was fantastic in Destin. The outlet mall has wonderful stores and excellent bargains. There are many other retail stores in the neighbourhood. All in all, we could find no fault in the rental home whatever. If we do not rent this home again it will be because we want to find a more dog-friendly environment and perhaps one a little warmer in February when we want to leave our frozen home for a bit of a break. Lastly, I have to say that the owners of this rental were extremely helpful and very responsive to any enquiry. They were a joy to deal with.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children.

We had our 3 son's and wifes plus 3 grandaughters stay at Tropical Breeze over Christmas.The location is about 1 mile from shopping and app 1 block to beach. The unit was nice and having a bathroom for each bedroom was a plus.The owner was easy to work with and never being at Destin before we were very satisfied with the area and the property. I'm sure the summertime is even better.

Your home is beautiful! The beaches, shopping and weather were perfect. We enjoyed long walks on the beach and just vegged out most of the time. We look forward to visiting Destin next year. Thanks for sharing paradise (Tropical Breeze).

We came down to visit my family, the Reigers. We decided to rent this in FL instead of going to each other's place for Christmas. We are in the Air Force so we haven't seen them for a year and a half. The weather was pretty good, the place is beautiful - we had a great time.

A single week is not long enough. We are just starting to enjoy the area, and there is so much to do. I actually think we were lucky with the weather as the cold Christmas kept us all inside. This was our first Christmas ever with Jessica's "new" husband Mike. This was a wonderful location for our reunion & Christmas. Thanks.

Scotts - Our family, my sister's family and my mom enjoyed a glorious week at your home. We ate, built sand castles, shopped, swam, and ate again! We love Destin! Ashtons - What a great place to have a mini family reunion! All the kids had such a great time...the pool was GREAT! (and fun to sip pina coladas by ..)
