  I can't say enough positive things about this house! The owner couldn't have been more helpful and gracious before our arrival. We had plenty of room for our family of 5, and the location was great. Short walking distance to the bike path into the town square, a short drive to groceries and stores. Quiet neighborhood and beautiful setting. The back patio and garden is lovely and had plenty of space for dinner for 10. The entire house has beautiful furnishings, large bedrooms and bathrooms with lovely fixtures, the kitchen and family room is very nice with granite and new appliances - easy for several people at a time to be in the kitchen. The price is the best we found compared to other properties, we definitely recommend this and we will be back!

  Owner response: At first I was hesitant about becoming a landlord, worried about whether guests would be respectful of the home. VRBO has provided wonderful couples and families who have left things exactly as they found them. I enjoy meeting my guests and introducing them to Sonoma's great restaurants and wineries.

  What a treat staying at Carol's home. She really made the experience great, and we wouldnt hesitate to call her again! Nicely appointed home, rooms and yard will make everyone feel at home. Great neighborhood, very close to town and many services and restaurants. Dont miss out on this one!

  This house was the perfect base for our Sonoma vacation. Day one, we were able to walk into town to get breakfast, rent bikes and bike to the local vineyards, and enjoy the great patio out back. The bike path nearby was perfect for a morning run and to get too and from local sites quickly and safely. Would recommend this to anyone going on vacation that wants a place to come back to, relax, and enjoy some peace and quite. Great kitchen as well, with grill and perfect patio for dinner outside (but bring your fleece! it can get chilly at night)

  We moved from the East Coast to the Bay area this summer. While waiting for our new home to become available, we needed housing for our family of four plus two in-laws who wanted to see California. We found this Sonoma property to be beautifully furnished and a perfect place to spend a month. It had a new TV, ample cookware and appliances, lots of room for us to spread out, and a beautiful patio for BBQ dinners! We enjoyed walking and strolling along the bike trails, visiting the Farmers Market in the Plaza and tasting at the local wineries. We highly recommend this home for anyone who needs temporary housing while their new residence is becoming available.

  Great place! 4 ladies found this place to be perfect! Beautiful garden/patio as well. Photos on vrbo don't really do it justice! Would recommend for mature familys or small groups. Has everything you need. All the comforts of home. Lovely quiet neighborhood close to everything. You won't be disappointed.

  We had an incredible stay at this beautiful, spacious home. The home is in perfect condition with all the amenities. We loved that you could be cooking, sitting at the kitchen table, or lounging on the family room couch and still be in the same area enjoying each other's company. We also felt like the pictures didn’t do the home justice, especially the back yard. We changed our plans and made sure we cooked in so we could enjoy the back yard and house. The home is in an excellent location in a lovely neighborhood. We took advantage every day of the bike-walking path right behind the home, and enjoyed being able to walk to the local grocery stores – two choices within easy walking distance. Loved working with Colleen in setting up our stay. She responded to emails in a very timely manner and greeted us on our arrival. She made sure we were set and answered any questions. This is a perfect home base to enjoy all that Sonoma has to offer – the plaza, wineries, Jack London Park, etc. We would definitely return to this home and location in the future when visiting the Sonoma and Napa Valleys.

  Owner response: A small note about the above review. We're located a few blocks from the bike trail, but it is not right behind the home. The trail runs from Maxwell Village (Starbucks and Lucky Grocery store) to 4th Street East (Sebastiani Winery). It becomes a two lane street at 4th called Lovall Valley Road. It passes Ravenswood Winery, going on to Bartholomew Park Winery (good place for picnics) and Buena Vista Winery. It's a great walk even if you don't have a bicycle.

  This is a really nice home, clean, beautifully decorated, has multiple amenities and is much larger than it looks in the pictures. The bedrooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the house is perfect for relaxing, cooking a meal and enjoying friends. There is a private backyard garden with patio, grill, flowers, vegetable garden and fruit trees. The neighborhood is quiet. Carol is very accommodating and made sure our stay was pleasant. She had coffee and rolls waiting for us, went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and allowed us to use the house late in the day of departure since we had a late flight.

  If you don't stay in this home you are making a big mistake. My wife, son and his wife stayed in Sonoma for a couple weeks in March 2009 and the house was absolutely Perfect. Carol is an excellent property owner and has made this house as comfortable as your own, plus the location - WOW! Well positioned to everywhere in Sonoma County (and Napa too), great walking in the morning, shopping around the corner and fantastic yard to just relax. I know one thing - we are staying here when we return to Sonoma.
